Safe at Last, chapter 6
Frank Delfino was a murderer, and so was Bonnie. Over a year ago, Bonnie made a statement that he would never forget. We say that we're protecting ourselves, but there's a point when we're the ones people need to be protected from. That's what we've become. And as always, Frank tried to dismiss it. But it was true. Or was it? They needed to be protected from the Keating 5. They have caused so much trouble for them, that this is the only way out. Even Laurel. He didn't want to kill her. He didn't because he believed he loved her. Seeing her with Wes—so happy and content, peaceful. It made him furious, made him sick. She was supposed to be his woman, not Wes'. Wes wasn't a tenth of the man he was. Yeah, he killed Sam, but look at all the problems that followed. She said that Frank ruined all of their lives, but it was really Wes. And Doucheface just dug the knife in even deeper by killing that A.D.A. Him and his dumb-ass lead foot. The prom queen and Hair-Gel weren't as bad as the others, but they were still liabilities. They could flip at any moment. And who knows what they have up their sleeves? If they wanted to, they could tear this whole kingdom down.
Bonnie had stolen Annalise's cell phone while the latter was passed out drunk in former's bed. She texted all of the brats to come by 8:30 to 'discuss the case'. Annalise would never make it to the house by then, so she'd be safe. Frank reminded her to slip the phone back in Annalise's purse in case she did wake up. Hopefully, they'd all show up, wait and with a little gas and the click of the switch be eliminated. Annalise had even hired a maid service to come by twice a week to clean the home, and she was dumb as a brick. She was just leaving now. No DNA, no fingerprints. There was nothing that leading back to Frank or Bonnie, he thought. Even if they didn't all show up, they had backup plans. They weren't getting away with this.
Okay. Enough of that. Bonnie had already left to go check on Annalise, and the 'plans' were already in place. All they had to do now was put the bomb in the house and wait. Frank was with another crooked pal of his, name unknown. He thanked pal for his services, and got in the car. To the end. For some reason, this made Bonnie and Frank smile.

Wes was with the bloodhounds at the station. He had just fired his lawyer on impulse, and he was wondering if he had made a mistake. He had an immunity agreement placed in front of him, and he was reading it over. At first, he agreed to take Vince's advice. Nate begged him to. "She's trouble, Wes. I don't need to tell you that. Just follow your lawyer's advice. Sign the agreement."
He should, right? Annalise knew that Rebecca was dead the whole time, and she never told him. Why not? She knew how important Rebecca was to him. Why not let him know? It didn't make any sense. Not unless she actually did it....
For the longest time, it seemed, Annalise had lied to him so many times before. Especially about Rebecca. Why had she lied to him? He knew that Annalise had never approved of him and Rebecca dating. She made it quite clear that she didn't like Rebecca as a person, either. And Rebecca sensed that, which is why she was at the Keating house on Murder Night 1. They didn't trust each other. Annalise wound up winning her case anyway.
Wes, pen in hand, crossed something out and said "No". He crossed out and circled a few other items on this immunity agreement. "This doesn't belong here. This either.", Wes said in a surprisingly business-like voice." The Bloodhounds gave each other looks while Wes studied the pieces of paper before him. What were they thinking? Who knows?
Wes slid the papers towards them, and shook his head. "You need to change this whole thing". More looks from the detectives and to Wes. The male detective looked over the agreement, and so did the female detective. "You're asking for blanket immunity, son. This deal only covers partial immunity. Sorry, we can't—"
