Skye continued to meet saffron at the beach on the following days, if turned out that her dad wasn't that interested in her unless they were going out somewhere in the evening. To him Skye was just a way to bounce back to the top of the charts. The only time they saw ecah other in the day was when they sat down for breakfast in the morning, and still no words were exchanged.

Skyes days were filled with chatting with saffron on a verity of topics. Skye found out how alike she and saffron were. They each had divorced parents, loved the colour blue and adored dogs. The sea was warmer in the afternoon but still each morning Skye made the trek down to the shore even though she didn't always enter the sea first thing. On Saturday Skye even went down to the busy market, she was guided the entire way round by saffron whom seemed to know what to buy and what the best deals were. Skye left the market traumatised with her arms fulls of shopping bags. She had bought what seemed to be most of the market.

As Skye and saffron reached the nearest cafe they saw a boy of about fifteen with short brown hair, tanned skin and huge brown eyes. Skye wouldn't have noticed him if saffron hadn't almost run in to him in her hast to reach the last table. Saffron insisted on buying him a coke even though he didn't oblige at first. They sat in the cafe for one hour talking with the boy."I'm Jayden" he said in a distinct English accent. The time passed quickly and once the conversations had faded Skye and saffron continued towards the beach once again.
