On Sunday night, five days into the holiday, saffron managed to persuade Skye to go to the local fair ground, the Luna park. Seeing as it was a night park Skye carried out the day as usual although making sure she got more sleep so that she wouldn't have to get home to early. By the time night fell Skye was so excited she couldn't contain herself, she had never been to a fair ground before because there were none close to where she lived. They could easily walk to the park from Skye's dad flat, it was only a mile away so not to much of a stretch. When they arrived at the park Skye was overcome by the number of bright lights surrounding her, the neon glow lit up black night sky revealing its many stars.
Before Skye could truly appreciate all this she felt herself being dragged towards the Ferris wheel by saffron. The wait was short and so they were surprised when they clambered into the cart they were accompanied by another person. Jayden. The silence was Erie but on the second way round saffron broke the ice, "so how come your here?" Saffron asked quickly. I tried to sink into the bottom of my seat avoiding the answer he could possibly give. Before he could answer the Ferris wheel came to a abrupt halt.
The silence was cut with a piercing scream, I gingerly looked over the edge of the cart. The park was filled with people running and screaming from what I didn't know or maybe who. What had happened? And why?
