CHAPTER FOUR:
Still Miley’s POV
I got up thinking “Whoa I’m a Werewolf! “as I ran over to the, now 7 plus me makes 8 werewolves that were circling the vampires.
The new wolf, who I’m guessing was Nick, lunged for the calve of Kim and then everyone else followed his action and attacked the vampire closest to them, ripping their clothes and scratching at flesh.
I didn’t know what to do so I looked around to make sure no one got away. Sure enough one was trying to slip away. She didn’t notice me at first for she was too concerned with watching the other werewolves attack her friends so I snuck up behind her.
I got low, ready to lunge, and growled .
She turned around, shocked, and hissed at me.
She was short kind of chubby and had big hair if I wasn’t mistaken I was about to attack Snookie from jersey shore “Oh I’m going to enjoy this” I thought because I absolutely hate that show.
I lunged for her, digging my k9’s into her shoulder.
She punched me in the gut and I yelped in pain and let go.
She grabbed at her shoulder and I saw a crimson red color and knew I got her good and I saw that she had five puncture wounds.
Blood started to drip down her black Versace dress. She looked at me like she was not going to hold anything back and that she was going to kill me until a messed up Kim said, “Snook!” “Let it go.” And they all retreated.
When they were gone we all changed back into humans and went to the Jonas’ house. When we got there Nicks dad explained to us what had happened, what we were, and other werewolf stuff.
Nick’s POV (still in flashback)
“Now Miley, Nick” my dad said looking at each of us “I know this is confusing and a lot to take in but we are as well as everyone here are werewolves.” He said pointing to Selena, her family, Chelsea, her family, Demi, her family, Miley’s mom, dad, brother(s) and sister(s). My eyes lingered on the Cyrus’, Noah gave me a polite wave and Trace gave me a ‘what’s up’ nod. Miley’s mom laid a hand on Noah’s shoulder and said, “Of course Noah here isn’t old enough to transform into a werewolf but she is still part of the pack none the less.”
My dad spoke again and told us that he’s the alpha of the pack; Mr. Cyrus was the beta and that even though Kevin and Joe are older than me that I was going to be the next alpha and that whenever he was away or the kids and teens were at school I was in charge and responsible for them. He also explained mates or imprints to us.
Miley’s POV (still in flashback)
After Mr. Jonas explained imprints/ mates to us the kids/teens went to the game lounge/ video room and the adults went to the strategy room to discuss the problem with the vampires.
Nick took me out back to the garden and we sat down on the bench. He told me how, even though we might not be mates, we will still go out and deal with this werewolf thing.
A few weeks after that conversation he told me that he wasn’t feeling the fireworks anymore.
“What?” I said with tears in my eyes. “How long have you felt like this?”
“Ever since that day in the clearing. I’m sorry I know that I said we would work things out but imagine what would happen if we were still together when I found my mate.”
*END OF FLASHBACK*
There was a knock at my door and I woke up from my peaceful dream. Now I was pissed. As I got up I thought to myself ‘I’m going to rip the head off the person who woke me up’ until I got a whiff of the person who was at my door. It was a mixture of vanilla and strawberries. Only one person smells like that. Nick. With that realization I happily got out of bed and made my way through the halls with the kids and teens of the pack since we all lived with the alpha and his family.
