Frisk's Pov:

I feel....warm. I would've expected death to be cold. I open my eyes slowly and look up. I'm...in a house? I look around and see a person.

"Who are you?"

They turn and I see her.

"Chara! I knew I'd find yo-"

"Why did you jump?"

"H-huh? I came looking for you..."

She smiles and hugs me gently.

"Don't be so stupid...I'm not worth that."

I frown and kiss her. Her eyes widen,but then she kisses me back. I smile and hug her close. I notice she is freezing cold.

"Chara? Why are you so cold?"

"I'm dead,frisk. Did you expect me to be warm?"

"But...you're always hot~" I wink.

The blush on her cheeks grow.

"Oh shush it!"

I laugh and then wince. Something in my chest pops.

I feel a warm liquid rising in my throat..

Chara's Pov:

After frisk fell, I carried her to Moms old house. She slept for a long time and I was worried. But now that I see her, i know it's okay.

Then she got this look on her face.

"You okay?"

"I-I...yes...I am okay" she smiles.

I missed her smile too...the way her ears moved ever so slightly when she smiled. How the world seemed to stop when she looked at me.

I was dumb to think i didn't need her.

-------Timeskip a few weeks-------

Chara's Pov:

Frisk looks more pale than she did since she fell down... We decided to stay here because humans can be terrible.

"Hey frisk! Let's go to the waterfall!"

She is laying on her bed, covered in sheets.

"Frisk, Wakey Wakey!"

No response. I see her skin and I get worried. She's paper white.

"Frisk?"

She coughs and I see red trickle down her chin.

"C...Chara..."

I sit her up and pat her back gently.

"Frisk what's going on?"

She doesn't answer, but the tears i see welling in her eyes give me a hint that it's not good.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"Im...I'm broken..."
