The walk back from the hospital wing that night allowed Nova to explore the castle on her own, to feel free. Her mind began to wonder all over the place, thinking about her old school life at Ilvermorny and her family, how she'd survive the rest of her life at Hogwarts along side Draco and Harry, Ron & Hermione until the end of their educational years.
Checking her wrist as she turned a corner, she felt a rush of déjà vu. There was a slight scar from the cut, she remembered the burning sensation she could feel when it happened. It was pain she'd never felt before.

She headed downstairs towards the dungeons to make her way to the Slytherin dormitories when there was a sudden crash of metal nearing the end of the corridor. Suddenly, there was an out burst of people shouting and whisper-yelling, Nova hid behind a suit of armour which seemed to have a pulse.
Out came professor Snape, followed by Crabbe and Goyle, who both looked red in the face, as though they were about to cry.
Waiting until they had disappeared, Nova began to feel anxious just in case they were trying to see Draco in the hopital wing and they got caught. If anybody knew she was out of bed at this time of night she will be in big trouble.
Looking around to see if the coast is clear, she stepped forward and quickened her pace to the portrait to the dormitory, entered the password and walked through the hallway to the common room. Up the stairs to the dorms, she stopped to catch her breath and remembered she still had to contact her parents. She creeped through towards her bed, opened up her trunk and grabbed a piece of paper and a quill with ink.
She sat down on her bed and began to write, telling them about her amazing new friends, the classes she's already had and how shes fitting in. Although, she didn't mention her falling for Draco and kissing him.. that was strictly between him and herself.
She returned her quill, ink and spare parchment into her trunk, got changed into her sleepwear and climbed into bed, throwing the blanket over her head and pulling herself into a deep sleep.

There was no real sunlight in the dormitories. It was a charm to make it seem lighter as the Slytherin common room was under the castle - under the black lake. It was dismally lit day in and day out but it seemed to make the place more inviting when the fireplace was lit.
Today was Thursday. Nova woke up feeling refreshed and wide awake. She threw on her uniform, quickly doing up her tie, slipping on her shoes and off she went down the staircase to the common room, and through the portrait to the hallways.
The excitement to see Draco that morning rushed through her body like a foreign emotion. It was as though she had never felt such pleasure from meeting someone in her life.

She seemed to have reached the hospital wing much more quicker than the previous night before as it had only taken what it seemed like a minute. Nova spotted Draco at the doors, with his uniform untidily put on, his arm in a sling.
They caught each others' eyes and grinned at the sight.
"Hey, you." Said Nova, outstretching her arms to pull him into a warm embrace.
"Hey," he mumbled, wrapping his arms around her waist, "sha'll we walk to breakfast, then?"
Nova nodded. She suddenly became to feel hungry and she felt her stomach growl, so off they went. The two were talking about the previous days events. Apparently, Draco insists, it was Harry who made the hippogriff attack him, although he was no where near Draco.
They made it to the hall which was scattered with different type of smells of food.
Nova and Draco sat next to Crabbe and Goyle, who appeared to be joyous of his return. Instantly, they were stuck in a trance to hear Draco's story of what happened with him and that 'wild beast' and that his father had found out about it.
He's going to try and get Buckbeak killed. "My father told Dumbledore- the old tosspot,- that Hagrid has to get rid of that rat bird immediately.. stupid beast." Draco said, biting into a piece of toast with strawberry jam.
Nova had to hold back a scoff, she didn't want to argue that early in the morning with Draco whilst his friends were there.
What made things worse, Pansy was sat just a couple of metres away from them, listening intently to their conversation and ignoring her own friends.
