                                                                          Invisible

                                                          ~ A Chocolate Production...

Prologue:

It was a cold, wet, foggy night. It had been raining for days- no months, and the roads were wet. One road, surrounded by rocky mountains and one thin path changed two seven year old's lives.

"Mummy, I want a puppy," A girl wheezed as she trudged down the path with her mother and father. The girl was beautiful, with blonde curls cupping her heart-shaped face. She had golden and chocolate streaks down her hair, and honest blue eyes that shone with innocence.

"Harper, you know we can't have a dog," Her mother replied kindly. Her mother looked like a supermodel, she had glossy brunette locks that fell past her shoulders and green eyes specked with gold, like the stars in the sky.

"But mummy," Harper whinged. She pouted and her father laughed. He was holding the umbrella above the family, and only Harper was dressed in a raincoat.

" Harper, don't ask mummy, obviously she'll say no. Maybe daddy would be a better person to ask. We could hide the puppy under your bed or something," He joked, his blue eyes twinkling. It was obvious where she inherited her eyes from.

Her mother smacked her father on the arm. "Wallace..." She scolded," What are you teaching you kids?"

Harper's face scrunched up in confusion. "Daddy? If we hide my puppy under the bed, wouldn't it get eaten by the monster under my bed?"

This suggestion was met by laughter. A lot of it.

For a while, this was one happy normal family. But in the space of a minute, two and a half out of those three people will disappear from the earth.

Life changed forever when Harper Rivenwood was seven. That night, scarred her- the night her parents died. Straight after, she moved from Sydney, to California and began an unrecognised, quiet life. What was a bubbly young child, became a serious unsmiling girl.

It didn't help that she has numerous health problems.

Now its her final year, and she would love nothing more than to stay the way she was. An invisble girl lurking in the corners of school. But something threatens that privilege. Something that goes by the name of Hunter Wheildons.

The Adonis to her private school.

That night, when her parents died- he was there. He saw everything.

He saw Harper kill her parents.

Not willlingly of course. Not on purpose. But nonetheless, she killed them. Hunter incurred concussion straight after so he forgot about everything from the time he was born til the time he was seven.

But now, he wants to remember. All he remembers from his previous life, was Harper. He remembered (or so he thought) that she was his best friend. So he enlists her help to try to remember what happened.

Only two things stand in his way.

One; Harper has no intention of helping him.

and

Two; Harper was never his friend.

Is the price of being invisible finally due?
