Jade POV

I got back my exam results last week. I got an f  because I had used pictures only for my answers. Hey, it's not my fault I was still slightly drunk, a bit high and very hungover.

I was walking back from Chloe's after saying goodbye. I still had tears drying on my cheeks but I smiled as I looked down at the present she gave me. It was a huge board of pictures following our journey of growing up together.

My mates at work, or should I say ex-work, (Starbucks) gave me a bag of coffee beans and a few latte sachets. I know, how generous are they?!!

I decided to stop off at my ex's house. I rand the doorbell and Nat opened the door. 'Jade!' She gasped 'ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh it's so good to see you!' She said throwing her arms round my neck. We were always great mates. 'Hey Nat, I've missed you' I replied. 'Can I speak to you and Bradley please?'

She grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs into a familiar boyish room where Brad was sat on his bed and playing on his phone. 'Jade?' It was more a question. 'Why're you here?' He asked
'Nice to know I'm always welcome' I joked as I threw my arms round his neck. He was slightly taken aback but he then hugged me back.

"I'm here cos I need to tell you something" I said
"Go on"
"I'm moving to Dublin"
"what why?" Nat asked
"Mum and Jon are moving the business around a bit, but after a month I'll be back in Manchester"

"But I don't want you to leave" Nat murmured into my hair as she hugged me. I moved on and hugged Brad too. After an hour of crying, laughing, hugging and more gifts I finally left.

We moved last week. We were all unpacked and we were now in Dublin. And I knew my way around the block of houses surrounding us but I didn't know anywhere else. Our apartment was small but there were two bedrooms a living room and a kitchen so we all fit. Obviously there were toilets too but that's beside the point.

I grabbed a fiver and shouted to mum that I was going out. I left and walked to Costa. When I arrived I walked inside and ordered a caramel latte.

On the way out I bumped into a tallish figure.  A few drops of my latte fell on their shirt. "Oh my god I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going an-" I was saying until he cut me off.

"It's fine don't worry about it, it's no biggie" I looked up. Wow! He looked fit! He had dirty blonde hair and really sparkly eyes. Holy crap! I smiled and he returned it. I turned away and strolled back to the apartment listening to my favourite playlist of music.

When I got home my mum immediately asked what I was doing. "I went to Costa" I said

"Okay honey"

Wow, 'honey'. Jeez haven't heard that one for a while

"Oi, cheeky" she scolded

"Oh sorry did I say that out loud?" You could clearly hear the sarcasm in my voice. My mum wasn't around much and she had to work a lot. So we didn't see much of her since dad died. When he died, mum found it really hard and I would be the one to look after her. Then she just got tired of it. She remarried and was now with Jon. She would stay distant from us all the time though and it wasn't fun being ignored.
