Chapter 1

​​​          My alarm went off signaling I had to get up and go to the academy of bakas (aka, idiots). Sighing I sat up, shut my alarm off, and got out of bed before going to my dresser, grabbing my ninja outfit, and heading to my bathroom to take a shower. After my shower I got dressed in my ninja outfit which consists of black ninja shoes, bandages from my ankles to my knees, black cargo pants to mid calves, kunai pouch on right thigh, figure hugging black tank top, black t-shirt, baggy dark blue sweatshirt with clan symbol on left shoulder, red shades/ goggles that cover my eyes, and a black mask that completely covers the lower half of my face. After getting dressed I go to my kitchen and make a small breakfast for myself and my lunch before heading to the academy. As I am walking I pass by some girls from my class who are staring at me with distaste in their eyes, I just continued walking as though I didn't see them till I reached my classroom, 2C, in which I opened the door and walked to my usual seat in the darkest corner at the back of the classroom.

          I sat down, took out my pencil and sketchbook, and started on another sketch. When class started both the back rows were empty besides me and everyone was sitting with their friends talking till our sensei arrived and told us to go outside to the training field for practice matches. I stood up and put my sketchbook and pencil away before following at the back of the crowd to the training field where our sensei listed off the names of who's battling who. I listened for my name so l know who I am 'fighting'. "7-Jay Suzuku vs. Emily Minamiya" and their we go, I'm battling miss 'I'm so tuff, I can kick anyones ass'. I think I might actually fight for once and show everyone she's not tough as she seems. As the class starts battling I sit in the shade of a tree and think about what I should draw next once I'm done with the thing I'm drawing now. I notice it's about time for my fight so I stand up and casually walk towards the field, as I reach the field the sixth fight finished and my fight began. I walked towards the middle of the field where Emily was waiting to begin. As soon as I faced Emily she came at me with a kunai in hand and the intent to kill or severely hurt me surrounding her. I side step just as she was about to stab me and kick her in the back, sending her flying through some trees a few yards away. Everyone stares at me in shock, even our sensei, at my strength. It's to be expected though, one of the laziest and 'weakest' kids/kunoichi in class just beat the supposedly strongest kunoichi in our class with one kick. I brush off any dust I got on me before heading back to the tree I sat under earlier and listening to everyone whispering about my fight.

         After all the fights were done sensei said we were dismissed for the day so I stood up and started walking away until I heard, "Jay I need you to come here for a minute." So I turned around and headed to sensei. "Yes?" I asked once I was standing in front of him. "Where did you learn how to do that, and who taught you?" He asked. "A training field and myself." I answered unamused which earned me a shocked expression from sensei. "Really?! I could've sworn Might Gai was teaching you since he's been talking about a student of his for awhile now..." Sensei mumbled to himself but I caught it with my sensitive hearing. "Is there anything else you wanted? If not I'm gonna go get something to eat." I say bored with this conversation. "Actually yes, I would like to have a battle with you to see just how good you are...... but only if you're okay with it." Sensei said. I think it over in my head, should I fight him, someone older with more experience just to see how well I would do against a chunin or should I not fight him and never know just how good I am against a chunin at the moment. "...I guess, this is as good a time as any to test my skills against a chunin..." I reply. "Great! Then how about we head over to a training field." Sensei says in which I nod in response before we headed over. Only I veered off to the left before we reached the training field sensei was heading to in which sensei asked, "where are you going Jay? The training fields over here." "I know, but I'm going to my secret training field cause I don't want others to know what I'm capable of." I replied and sensei 'hmmmed' before following me into the dense forest.
