Lachlan's pov
"Did Vikk mean to come off mean? Did he truly not like me? Was I a nuicenecne to him? I couldn't have annoyed him that much could I?" Finally I was pulled out of my mind by Rob saying something about the mountain. My mood instantly turns excited and I exclaim, "Well let's go!" Out of the corner of my eye I see Preston looking at Rob heart broken, I need to fix this! "Hey Rob can Preston come?" I ask. Rob glances at the sad fire type and sighs. He nods his head and walks over to Preston. "You wanna come with us?" Rob asks, "really? You want me to come? Even after what I did?" Preston responds. What did Preston do? I leave a mental note to ask about that later. "Yeah Preston I forgive you" Rob says making Preston smile. They continue to talk for a while while I stand there alone lost in my mind. I'm once again awoken from my mind by a cool tail wrapping around me. Looking up I thought I would see Rob, but instead I saw Vikk. He looked at Me with sympathetic eyes, "I'm sorry for what I said Lachlan" he says. "Its alright Vikk" I say, then remembering one of my questions I sigh. "Vikk do you hate me?" I ask trying not to cry. "Of course not Lachlan! Why would you think that! I mean I can see why you would think that But never! Lachlan I misunderstood you and I'm sorry" Vikk explains tears in his own eyes. I nuzzle his neck happy, I feel him shiver, the same way Rob did when I nuzzled him. I felt something wet slide against my head making me purr. "Come on Lac-oh...oh um well" Rob stutters, "it's time to leave Vikk can come if he wants" Rob says pawing at The ground. Both of us seperate blushing. After we got rid of our blushes we all start to make our way to and up the mountain. As we where finally nearing the top something happened. A tree started to fall. The tree barreling itself towards Preston. "Preston! Look out!!" I yell running at him, I knew I couldn't make it in time. The fire type gave me a confused glance then looked up and saw the tree now two feet above him falling. Preston couldn't move, he was frozen in fear. Preston was about to die.
