There's a reason
something about love
feels like eating your own heart.
You may be the fairest of them all,
but you're not a courtroom,
you're a tightrope walker--
you live a balancing act.
Equilibrium is your favorite flavor;
and on the tightrope you know
there are the things
that keep you up,
and the things that push you down.
But when they tel you,
"All 's fair in love and war,"
the rope snaps
and there's nothing fair
about falling ten stories.
