Summer is what every student longs for, it is the time of year for freedom, friends, adventures, and being a kid regardless of age. I had thought summer was going to be packed full of mystery, happiness, and love like it is portrayed to be.. but it turned out to be a utter catastrophe.

Seeing the odd little town you love most, Gravity Falls, transform into the typical eerie place you only see in horror movies truly alters your perception of life. Seeing the luscious trees in flames as you try to save your family from a barbaric demon.. makes a young person realize that real life isn't as great as it seemed. Welcome to the rest of your life Dipper..

I had to do this... it was my fate I thought, it was destiny. The only way I could save my family, and Gravity falls. Looking back on it, i don't regret my decision since I had saved everyone with the sacrifice of one factor, my freedom as a human being. But I only have one regret, leaving my dearest sister.
"Mabel, I'm sorry, I have to do this." I shouted from the depths of my soul.

"Wait Dipper! Don't do that, we found an easier way to defeat him.." Mabel screamed at me, but it was too late, I had ran and tried to wound Bill.

Time stopped. I couldn't hear a word she had said to me, and it tore me apart.

"Well, if it isn't old Pine-tree, so now you're trying to kill me, eh? I see that you've gotten real cocky in your abilities.." Bill teased.

"Oh, Bill.. You truly underestimate the power of my family. No matter how much you try to avoid death, it won't happen. Its my turn to dethrone you, good for nothing  demon." exclaiming as i peered over in Bills direction.

"You're just a puny, weak, good-for-nothing little boy. You have no power to save the lives of the pathetic humans in your PATHETIC town. Now, be a good kid and.. move over so i can kill your family." He mimicked

"Don't you dare.." I murmured

"Don't wanna lose your family? Well then, how about we make a deal. If agree to spare Gravity Falls and all of its pathetic glory.. then i need something in return from you"

"You expect me to accept an offer when you have back stabbed my family.. and myself. time and time again. You have to be out of your damn mind."

"Well Dipper, my dearest gambler, not may get offered this opportunity from me. Consider yourself lucky."

"Just get to the point, Bill. What is it that you really want from me? My soul? My house? My freedom? A servant? My knowledge?" I whispered

"Well.. you see, there is a lack of godly beings in my realm of living.. and we need more creature like myself." He said in a vicious tone.

I should've realized what he had wanted from me. But i was dumb, i wanted to be the hero in the dystopian society that I have dreamt about. But those don't exist in this world.

"What the hell do you mean?"

"Give up your humanity and life here, and come with me. You'll live as a demon, much like my handsome self. With that comes the fact of the matter: I will spare your entire family... especially your beloved sister."

"I would never give up my humanity to something as vile as you. I have morals."

"As i expected, more heartless than the demon i am. So, you're saying i should murder your uncles, sister, friends, and everyone on this Earth?" he chastised

"Okay fine, I'll accept it. But if one thing goes wrong again, I'll kill you Cipher. Mark my words"

Next thing I know, he had his fiery hand out for me to seal the deal. We shook hands and it was settled. I was to become a being of another dimension.. a demon. Soon after i could feel my organs burn, my blood festered with a stinging.. and that's when i realized what was happening.

"How're you liking that burning feeling Pine-tree, make you feel alive? Well, don't worry, you wont be alive here soon." Cipher mocked.

"wait, what?!" I screamed

"You mere fool, you knew this wouldn't be so easy. You're definitely going to die before you turn."

"Are you kidding me? Death? At this point I would prefer that for myself. But as long as Mabel survives... I will stick it through." Nearly in tears as I forced words out

"Sure, shooting star will be fine. Besides, you don't need to worry about it kid, she'll be alright under my watch." His voice getting slowly more suspicious by each word.

Days went on, or maybe hours. I couldn't determine that within this empty nothingness. I pondered my escape endlessly, but couldn't manage to find a way.But.. this is exactly what i should have expected from a bloody demon.

Then the Darkness fell upon my eyesight and pain ferociously jolted through my whole entire body.

"Death..." a familiar voice whispered "Death, oh death. I remember that comforting word vividly."

"what....?" I forced while resulting in great amounts of pain.

"Well kid, you're officially dead!" Bill laughed before murmuring, "but that one is temporary.. you'll be strong before you know it."

"I-i couldn't hear you, what was that?"

"Well... you see..." not continuing his words
