-Marcel's POV-
"Bye mom..."
"Goodbye sweetie, do you have everything?"
"For the thousandth time, yes, just let me leave already."
"Oh, um, ok honey. Have a nice day." My mother replied with slight doubt in her voice.
"I wouldn't count on it." I mumbled that last part to myself as I headed out the door and shut it. I'll admit, I'm always a bit rude to my mother, but it's kind of hard to be happy when you go through the amount of shit I do. Yeah, yeah, I'm rich, our house is ginormous, I should be grateful, and I am! I truley am! But, money doesn't buy happiness.
I don't drive simply because I never really cared to learn. Unfortunately, my school is a tremendously far walk from my house, so, I just have my friend, Amy (picture on side), pick me up and we go together.
Amy and I have been friends since 5th grade. In fact, I had many friends back then. It was a time when nobody cared what you looked like, or how you dressed, or anything except what kind of person you were. We connected pretty quick. She and I were both quirky in our own ways.
I have had quite a crush on Amy since the 8th grade, and we are now juniors in high school. She has gorgeous, blonde, bouncy hair and her face is flawless. Did i mention her lips? Oh my, sometimes I just want to-
*BEEP*BEEP*
And here arrives the beauty queen herself.
"Come on Marcie! You must be freezing! Get in the car!"
"I'm coming! Just don't be blinded by my hotness!" I joked.
"Don't count on it!" Ouch. She was obviously joking but still, nobody wants to hear that from their crush. "Let's just go, yeah?" I spoke. She responded with a simple nod, and we were off.

I am never in the mood to go to the hell hole that people like to call school. I get excellent grades all the time, but that makes no difference in what i go through everyday. I only have one class with Amy, and my worst nightmare is there. Louis Tomlinson. He rarely hurts me physically, but, sometimes words hurt a bit more than fists. Sometimes...
We're walking in the hallway going to find our lockers. That's when I saw him. He wasn't coming towards us, he didn't even notice us. He was just talking to a group of friends about something. I got curious so I decided on eavesdropping.
"So, Tommo, you're birthday's coming up!" His best mate, Zayn, called out as their little group cheered, "Are we finally going to be able to see this giant house of yours?" More cheering. "Well, I don't know about that yet Malik, it might be a bit too big!" Here he goes again, bragging about how much money he has, his huge house... Basically everything I have, except no one cares about me.
"Come on Tommo! Tell us about that house again! Listen to this one guys!" Zayn once again shouted out while gathering a group of people. Something flashed over Louis' bright blue eyes. It seemed to consist of... nervousness? Could that be it? Either way, I coundn't tell anymore because it vanished as fast as it came. "Four stories!" Here we go... "Five bathrooms! And best of all, nine bedrooms... good for more than just sleeping if you know what I mean!" And everyone yelled out "Ohh"'s and "Yeah!!!"'s. So immature.
"The kitchen is the size of this hallway! And the living room? Even Bigger!" He is so cocky I just want to shove my foot down his throat. Suddenly his other friend, Liam, started to talk "Why don't we ever get to see this place?!"
"Well, um..." Wow this is the first time I've ever seen him at loss for words. This moment deserves a place in the record books! "Because my family doesn't know how to get the hell out! So it would be extremely awkward!" He defends himself as Zayn begins to back him up while slinging his arm around him. "It's fine mate, we can just throw the party at my place." "Great!" What a bastard.

We finally got to our lockers when-
"Hey look! It's the little nerd and his slutty sidekick!" Guess who.
"Oh, like what you say everyday, jackass? How about getting new jokes. Oh, and I highly recommend getting your washer fixed... or is that just your shit-scented cologne again?" Louis looks slightly offended by Amy's words as she sticks up for me, once again. "Amy, drop it, I can stick up for myself..." I try to defend. "Oh look boys, I didn't know dogs could talk!" He retrieves as kids begin to snicker.
I open my mouth to talk but nothing comes out... shit. "What's the matter nerd? Cats got your tongue? Oh wait, that's impossible since no pussy would ever want to go near you!" My mouth drops as the hallway erupts into hysterics. Except the girls of course due to the amount of disrespect he has.
Amy grabs my arm to drag me away when suddenly Louis locks his foot around my ankle causing me to fall forward. My books go flying as I crash to the tiled floor I have become far too farmiliar with.
