Jealousy? A feeling I knew well. Very well. Perhaps I was always unreasonable, but who's to say?

~Flashback to Kindergarten~

I watched her go with him yesterday. That Levi boy. But today, today will be different. Even if I have to force it to be so.

Soon enough, I see Hanji running up to me. But her eyes glistened with tears. I swear to the maker, if Levi did this...

"(y/n), it's horrible! Levi won't talk to me anymore! What... What do I do?" Listening to her words, my expression darkened as I spotted Levi from across the room.

"I'll be back," I forced out the words. Levi's eyes watched me coldly as I stormed up to him. "Stop ignoring Hanji, you.. you big meanie!"

"And just what are you gonna do about it?" His eyes were still cold against me; I could feel them piercing into my skin as if they were the very daggers that murdered my sister. I eyed him with a look as fiery as the flames of hell.

"You can burn in hell. Stay away from Hanji," he was staring at me icily as I went back, but I didn't care. I only cared about Hanji. She was my only concern.

"(y/n)..? Is everything all right..?"
"Everything is just fine. And don't worry about Levi, he'll leave you alone from now on," I looked at her with soft eyes, and I then I knew. I had finally found my home.
