"Wow! Hoy, next year sabihan mo ko ha!"

Clark smiled, "Yeah, then let's go here again!"

"Let's do this every year!"

Clark woke with a start.

He stared at his ceiling for a while, remembering his dream.

It wasn't much of a dream, it was a memory.

Clark smiled, reminiscing.

He checked his clock. It was ten o'clock at night. He didn't really know why he suddenly woke up, but he wasn't sleepy anymore.

He stood up and stretched. Their house is quiet. It seems he was the only one awake in the house.

Clark decided to go to their veranda. Maybe look at the sky... count the stars and maybe sleep will come visit him again.

He took a jacket and wore it. It was cold now. Winter was definitely on its way.

Clark also took his phone and headphones before going out. Some music may help lull him back to sleep.

It was a clear night; the stars and the moon visible from above.

It was a beautiful night.

Clark stared at the sky for a while, and then he smiled.

It's time.

He didn't really know how he knew but it has always been like this. He just have the feeling when it's coming.

He went back inside their room and quickly changed.

He suddenly wanted to see her.

He went downstairs, got his coat and proceeded outside their house. Her house was only a short distance away.

He met her last year, during their freshman year in high school. She was new, she just moved here in San Francisco from the Philippines and he just knew she'd have a hard time adjusting. He had approached her and they've been friends since.

He looked once up the sky and then hurried with his strides.

In no time, he was in front of their house.

And now he realized what time it was. Obviously she was already asleep.

Clark sighed, 'Smooth, Clark...' he chided himself.

But he didn't really wanna let this pass and so he marched up his courage and went around the house.

He stared at Leah's window. The light was off, and the curtains were close.

She probably was already asleep.

Clark looked around for something and found a small stone.

'Well, here goes nothing.' He thought and then he threw the small stone to her window.

It made a sound but it wasn't that loud. "Leah!" he called.

No answers.

He tried again. He picked up a little stone and threw it to her window.

"Leah!" he called in a louder voice.

This time the light went on and Leah, who seems to have just woken up, peeked through her window.
