Chapter 2

Kora's POV

"You can't be kidding me, you're going to go see her, fall in love again and then get your little heart broken. Jace, don't do this to yourself cause me and Allison are sick of this bullshit," I explain as I kick the rocks on the ground. This reminds me of her, the rocks. "LISTEN TO MY WO-"
"NO, NO, LET ME SAY IT. Jace.

Allison exclaims
"YES, I AGREE." I nod "Look that the last text she sent you." I grab his phone and look for the most recent message. "She's the one", UGHHH THE CRINGE IS REAL. "Look at that nickname, and you wonder why my password is based off you guys. Also, WHAT THE FUCK WITH THESE GAY AS KISSY FACES, YOU AREN'T HER BITCH."
"But you sure are acting like it," Allison snickers.

If I'm going to be honest, Jace was acting like a side bitch to Lydia. He understands why I don't like her, she acts all innocent and sweet around him but when she ignores him i always tell him these exact words, "BLOCK THE BITCH" but he never listens which is expected. He believes he loves her, I think so too but he fell for the wrong girl. They dated for a month, with all the "I love you" and whatever else normal couples do online, and everything dropped after just a couple heartbreaking words for him.

---24 hours since the mocking of Jace---

"Kora, Jace, get your flat asses here I have a cringy thing I need to announce," Allison exclaims.

I go up to Jace and I mutter , " wanna bet that she finally got the guts to ask out Sedrick after 3 years?"

Jace replies, "Do you even know Allison, trust me it's going to be this cheesy thing where we end up crossing our fingers and making up a brand new handshake."

As we continue walking, I remembered out of all the mess with Lydia there was one person perfectly compatible for Jace, in my opinion. I asked, "Since all this mess with Lydia have you ever considered Rae as girlfriend material?"

He answers almost immediately without thought, "No, not really, every time I see her she always squirms or shouts in my face. I find her sweet and all but I don't know her that well to actually get into anything serious."

With shock in my voice, "Wow, the fag actually said something that has some legitimate reasoning in it."

Allison shakes us both frantically screaming, "OMG,OMG,OMG,OMG."Slowly as she recollects herself she says, "What I'm supposed to tell you is very serious. YOU GUYS ARE ALL GAY." She bursts, into laughter.
Ahhhh, typically Allison, always laughing at her own jokes, sometimes it's always tempting to throw a ball at her. She continues "But in all even more seriousness, can we all promise each other that even after high school, we'll still be tight no matter what. We must all be there on each other's wedding days alright."
I start to fall apart, screaming "THE CRINGE! But, its like a lock right?"
Jace adds on, "I swear, just for one day, can you not say cringe?"
"YOU HURT MY FEELINGS," Allison pretends to sob, " NAH JOKING."
"Now, back to the important thing, you gonna meet up with the bitch? Also we're going to find out where you secret make-out spot is." As I say that his eyes widen. "Stuff Lydia go to Rae and get to know her. Give me your phone."
Jace takes his time taking out his phone so I snatch it off him, I text Lydia.

Sorry Lydia, I'm hanging with Allison and Kora today.

When I sent that text, it felt wrong. I wasn't being myself.

Before I could finish typing an endless rant of how annoying she is Jace takes the phone away in an instant.

"Come on dude, one more text message, I'll promise it will be nicer"

Jace replies, "One more chance, I can't believe I'm letting you"

A smile lights up on my face, "And send!"

He looks over, "LET ME SEE." After reading the first couple words his eyes became widen, " YOU ASSHOLE! WHAT THE FUCK, NOW I CAN'T BACK OUT CAUSE I GOT HER HOPES UP. But then, it would be nice to get to know her better."

I roll my eyes, "Where is my thank you? You just admitted that I helped you. I help you all the fucken time and all I get in return is 'HEYY KORAA CAN I HAVE SOME MONEY?' If I'm going to be serious, I definately think you should give Rae and chance. You will have beautiful babies together and I will become an aunty."

Rae's POV

OH FUCKEN SHIT! HE MESSAGED ME? HE WANTS TO HANG OUT? Maybe this is a prank. Ughh, do I say yes? Nah, seems so desperate which I'm totally not. I thought he'd be making out with Lydia, I remember her bragging about it in the library. She had notiorious hair whips and designer makeup.

Is this actually Jace? I don't know, I feel like Kora would do this kinda thing.

Nah, it wasn't her, she gave me the idea to actually meet up.
