I write today to speak about, a man called @OwainGlyn –

you may have seen him here, on Wattpad, now and then.

Genial, courteous and witty, funny too and wise –

the thing is, he's very old – over forty, I'd surmise.

Perhaps you've heard about, an ovine predilection –

his love for pretty sheep, of just the best selection.

Glyn's writing is the best, but still he's very old -

older than Brad Pitt and George Clooney, I am told.

Keith and Mick are older and Paul McCartney, too –

and Jackson Brown, whom I adore, has more years by two.

A mentor and a friend, Owain's a jolly man,

never too drunk, I might add - to lend a helping hand.

But still we must remember, he's of a certain age

and each and all Decembers, we do get to this stage:
