*Tony's POV*

It's another boring Friday night for me. I'm alone watching TV in my room when I get a phone call from Mike. I mute the TV and pick up. "Hello?"

"Yo Tony!" Mike's voice rings through the phone.

"Hey Mike, what's up?" I respond.

"Be ready in 10 minutes. Jaime and I are coming by to pick you up got it?"

"Wait, what?"

"The party! Remember?"

I remember he and Vic fighting about a party the other day. "Yeah but didn't Vic say-"

"Vic-schmick. He's at the library with Scarlette. Now you in or what?" He says.

I'm a little unsure of whether this is a good idea or not, seeing as it's against everything Vic said the other day, but what else do I have to do? "Yeah sure." I agree finally, sitting up and looking around my room. "Cool, we'll see you in 10." Mike says, and without giving me a chance to say goodbye, he hangs up.

I stand up and change into a pair of ripped jeans and a t-shirt. I stuff my wallet and phone into my pockets and lie down on my bed for a while. Soon a text from Mike. It reads; 'We're out the front.' And with that I leave the house.

I see Mike's car and jump in. Jaime's in the front with Mike. "Hello Tony." Mike says, beginning to drive again. "You boys ready to party?" He says a little louder. "Woo!" Jaime cheers. He looks pretty happy over in the front. He's more excited than me about this party. Apart from the radio, the ride to Mike's party is almost silent.

We pull up at Mike's house, which has people crowded at the door already, waiting. Mike gets out and Jaime and I follow him. We lose him in the crowd. Suddenly the crowd disappears into the house, like water down a drain after a bath. Mike stands waiting for us at the door. "Lets go boys."

From there on out, the party only got bigger, with more and more people arriving. It was hard for us to stick with each other in that crowded house, So we individually mingle with the crowd.

By 8:30, the house is packed. Then I see a short boy with fairly long hair push past people angrily. "Vic?" I call out. He spins his head to see me. It is Vic. "Tony! Where's Mike?!" He shouts. I shrug and he continues to push through the crowd. I look over and catch a glimpse of Jaime pushing through the crowd, and I think he has someone with him.

I try to follow him and get caught up in the crowd, when I hear Vic yelling at someone. I go towards Vic's yelling and find him causing a scene with Mike.

"Do you have any idea how much trouble we're going to be in?!"

"Relax! I'll clean it up!"

"Do you know how long it'll take to clean up?! You can't be serious! Why didn't you listen to me when I said no?!"

"Just relax! I have it under control!"

"No you don't!"

I push back through the crowd. I have GOT to find Jaime. I saw him go towards the bedrooms, so I open the door to Scarlette, Vic and Mike's room.

What I find there is shocking, but also makes me wonder, did Jaime finally get the girl?

"Scarlette?! Jaime?!"

There they were, Jaime and Scarlette, in the middle of their own little make-out session. The second they heard the door, they immediately ended their "little" kiss and turned to look at me in surprise, knowing they'd been busted.

"Um... Tony! Hey! What are you doing here?" Jaime says nervously, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. I feel a wide grin creep across my face. "I was just going to tell you Vic and Mike are causing a scene outside, but I'll let you get back to what you're doing." I say with a wink, grabbing the door to close again. "Wait! Where are they?!" Scarlette says, stepping past Jaime with her eyes full of concern. "Follow me, but stay close." I say. She rushes towards me and Jaime follows.

I lead them outside, to where a ring has formed around the brothers. People are chanting "Fight!" repeatedly. Knowing that Mike is probably wasted, he'll be the first to go in for a hit. Vic on the other hand will walk away from a fight. Scarlette is watching in horror. Vic puts his hands up. "I'm not going to fight you Mike. You need to stop this and send everyone home." Vic says, trying to stay calm. Mike laughs, shaking his head. Vic turns around to walk out of the circle, when suddenly he stumbles forward. Mike has just pushed him and the crowd is chanting louder. "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Vic faces him again, even angrier. "No, Mike! I'm not going to fight you!" He shouts. Some of the crowd throw "Boos" in Vic's direction, but Mike pushes him again. Scarlette looks scared. Vic just stands there shaking his head, his arms folded. "I said no, Mike." he says. Mike doesn't seem to get the message, and this time, he punches Vic in the stomach. The crowd cheers but only Scarlette's voice objects. "No!" she screams and pushes through the crowd and running to Vic's side. Jaime follows her and I follow him. She hugs Vic tightly, tears filling her eyes. "Stop it! Stop it!" she shouts, silencing the crowd. She looks up at Mike. "You hurt him! Y-You hurt him Mike!" she shouts at him. Mike steps back and looks at the people he's hurt tonight. Realization fills his eyes. "Scarlette... Vic... I'm sorry..." he says, looking at the grass in shame. "Get everyone out! Every last one of them, Mike! Get them out of here!" She shouts. There's a moment of silence.

"You heard her!" Jaime shouts at the crowd of people. "Get out! Go home!" he says, beginning to usher people out. I help him, pretty much pushing people through the house and out the door or out the side gate, leaving Vic, Mike and Scarlette alone in the backyard. When everyone's gone, and just the mess of the people who had been here remains, Jaime and I go back to the siblings out the back. Scarlette is still clutching Vic, who is now hugging her and rubbing her back comfortingly and Mike kneeling in front of them. "I'm gonna head home." I say. Mike looks up and nods. "Yeah me too. See you soon guys." Jaime says. I notice Scarlette look at him in a way that expressed her feelings for him. He shoots her a small, comforting smile before turning and leaving. I follow him out.

We walk down to the park and Jaime calls his mother to come pick him up, and offers me a lift. I accept his offer and we sit down, waiting for his mother to arrive. "So. You and Scarlette?" I say with a smirk, nudging him a little. A smile appears on his face. "Yeah... I um... I kissed her." He says like a lovesick kid. I smirk. "I didn't mean to interrupt your little 'make-out session'. So what was it like?" I say. His smile grows and he looks up at the stars. "It was amazing... like... indescribable... it was so much more... so much more captivating than I imagined it to be." He sighs dreamily and I can tell by his eyes he's thinking about her.

When Jaime's mother arrives, we get into the car and sit in silence, not mentioning tonight's events. I get dropped off first, and when I get inside, everyone's asleep. So I go upstairs to my room and crash on my bed, getting some much-needed sleep.
