Growing up with mental illness isn't easy as you would think, you would probably think " ill get over it one day" or "it will just fade away eventually" but nah youre wrong, buddy.
Mental illness is like spell, not a cindrella spell, more like, a vicious spell created by zeus. It will eat your life, soul, motives, and beliefs in front of you eyes, and you would just stand there, with your arms crossed, watching everything fade away, your dreams, goals, emotions. You'd feel like you've been drugged by some shot or drunk and you can do nothing about it. Its like going into a haunted house forcefully or youre gonna date th girl of your dreams or get those 1000 dollars. And as a victim of it, my life has no taste, I was just gray, where I should be screaming color like any other fellow. But blekh.
