Part 4

- Recap -

I sat my phone down on the living room table and then went to check on Elijah.

I held his small hand in mines and tears started to come out of my eyes.

"Please don't be mad at me." I said.

- Reality -

Jasmine's POV

Drake has been home for 15 minutes and I haven't been able to break the news to him.

"Baby?" Drake yelled from in our bedroom.

I was in Elijah's room watching him sleep.

"What?" I asked him.

He walked into the room. "I have been calling you for the last 5 minutes." he said.

He could tell I had been crying because he ran over to me. He held me in his arms and we sat down on the sofa that was in the room.

"What happened?" he asked turning me around so I could face him.

"I got a call from Briana." I said.

His gripped tightened around me. "What did she say?" he asked.

"In order to get Yasmine back I have to divorce you and stay away from the kids." I said with tears running out of my eyes.

He got up leaving me on the chair.

"There has to be some other way. I'm not losing you." he said with watery eyes.

"If it's what I have to do to get Yasmine back then I'll do it." I said.

"You're not doing it!" he said.

"Yes I am!" I said.

"YOU'RE NOT FUCKING DOING IT!" he yelled making me jump and Elijah wake up.

Being the person I am I got up and went to our bedroom. I sat my suitcase on the bed and started putting clothes in it.

Drake followed me into the room.

"You're not going anywhere." he said.

"How else are we suppose to get Yasmine back?" I said

"I don't know but we will find a way." he said.

I just shook my head and continued to pack

I was done packing so I went into Elijah's room to say good bye.

When I walked in I seen Drake with his head in his hands.

I walked over to him and tapped his shoulder.

When he looked up his face was wet.

I felt so guilty about leaving him but I want Yasmine to be safe at home. I love him and I would never leave him for no reason. He was my first REAL love.

"Good bye." I said.

He stood up and wrapped me in his arms. He then kissed my forehead.

We stayed like this for 6 minutes before he let go and left the room.

I walked over to Elijah's crib and picked him up.

"Mommy has to go bye bye for a little while. I will be back." I said kissing his cheek.

He smiled. I sat him back down in his crib.

I picked up my suitcase and walked downstairs towards the door.

I can't believe I'm leaving my family. I assured myself that what I was doing was for Yasmine.

Ain't no turning back now.
