Part 12

- Recap -

"Da Da." he said giggling after.

"We all miss daddy." I said kissing his cheek.

"I love you." I heard someone whisper in my ear.

I quickly turned around to see Drake standing behind me.

- Reality -

Jasmine's POV

"Where's Nebby?" Drake asked for the 5th time.

"I don't know where Nebby is at." I said.

"Tell me where the fuck Nebby is." he demanded standing up from the hospital bed.

Nebby was his highschool sweetheart (Before he dropped out) He has told me about her once or twice. I don't know why he wanted to see her.

Yasmine , Elijah , and everyone else are in the room across from his.

"Mrs.Graham?" the doctor said walking into the room.

"Yes? Have you figured out what was wrong with him?" I asked him.

"Yes I have." he said.

"What's wrong with him?" I asked.

"He has amnesia..." he said.

"HE HAS WHAT?" I yelled.

"Ma'am I'm very sorry." he said.

"Is his memory totally lost or partially lost?" I asked him.

"Ask him what's the last thing he remembers." the doctor said.

I looked towards Drake and seen that he was sitting in a chair by the window.

I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder.

He quickly smacked my hand away. "Who are you?" he asked turning towards me.

"I'm your wife." I said.

"What are you talking about? I'm not married! I have a girlfriend named Nebby." he said.

I grabbed his hand. "You're 29 years old , you have 2 kids , and I'm your wife." I explained to him with watery eyes.

Before he could say anything I hear the room door open and close. I turned around to see Yasmine standing there with her mouth open.

"DADDY!" she yelled running towards him.

She stopped when she didn't see him bending down to her level to pick her up.

"I'm sorry but I don't know who y'all are." he said.

"Mommy what's wrong with daddy?" she asked grabbing my hand.

I bent down to her level. I decided not to lie to her. "Daddy is having a hard time remembering us." I said to her.

"You mean he doesn't know who we are?" she asked.

"Yes baby." I said.

Tears were now running out of her eyes.

Sandi and Elijah walked into the room. It was so cute seeing him walk.

"Mom." Drake said walking over to her and giving her a hug.

"Jasmine is everything alright?" she asked looking at me with a crying with Yasmine in my hands.

"He has amnesia." I said.

"I don't have amnesia I just don't know who you are." he said.

I rolled my eyes.

"This is the worst birthday ever." Yasmine whispered in my ear.

"I'm so sorry baby." I said.
