Sorry I've been neglecting my stories lately guys. I have finals in two weeks and I would say that I'll update more but it's hard to say since my mom doesn't know I even write stories let alone post them online. So that'll be interesting to see how that works out.
Anyway thanks for waiting, hope you enjoy and sorry for the short chapter.
Ciao~*
Both Levan and Arlow came running out onto the deck when they felt the ship shake, due to the impact of being hit by another. When Arlow came upon the chaotic scene on deck, he could honestly say it was not what he had been prepared for. He had thought that they would still be preparing to be boarded but instead he was greeted with the sight of Levan's crew of forty men already engaged in battle with another pirate crew. Arlow didn't have long to remain idle for a big burly man came charging at him with a shrieking battle cry. He clashed swords with the used-to-be captain and it quickly became apparent to the man that he had misjudged the smaller man's strength.
Arlow threw his weight against his sword and managed to throw the pirate off balance long enough for him to shove his sword straight through his chest, ending his life. Arlow didn't stick around to watch the dead man's body hit the deck for he was already scouting out another pirate.
Levan was on the other side of the ship, his fury causing every pirate to stay away from him. Those who were stupid enough to try and challenge him were immediately cut down on the spot. Levan knew who was behind this attack and that was what angered him. He stalked through the masses of fighting pirates searching for a certain blond haired man. He spotted him the moment the man had reached Arlow and Levan cursed aloud as he forced his way toward them.
Arlow was grabbed from behind the moment he struck down what was probably the ninth pirate he had come across. He instantly began to struggle and tried to position his sword to where he could deliver a fatal blow in one try but his arm was grabbed in a painful grip that caused him to wince but he still held onto his sword. He heard a deep baritone chuckle as he was yanked back into a well built chest, a hand snaking its way up his chest before it gripped his chin and forced his head back, making him look into hazel eyes.
"Hello love," the man grinned. Arlow scowled at the unknown man and attempted to stab him once more, eliciting a laugh from him.
"Unhand me you heathen!" Arlow demanded. His anger was building every second he stood here being touched by this pirate. He felt dirty and wanted nothing more than to scrub the places the man touched raw with soap.
The unnamed pirate flashed Arlow a toothy grin despite the menacing look that was in his eyes. He opened his mouth to respond to the little spitfire of a man but was interrupted by Levan.
"Ronan!" Arlow's eyes grew wide at the sound of the pirate captain's deadly voice cracking through the air like a whip. The way Levan had said that name alone had carried enough threat behind it that both crews had backed down and had almost completely stopped fighting.
Each pirate crew trained their eyes on the three men who stood in the middle of the deck, not seeming to care what went on. Levan approached the man he had called Ronan with the look of a predator in his eyes and a gait so deadly it would put even the most lethally trained hunter to shame. Levan came to a halt just steps in front of Ronan and Arlow, seething as Ronan grinned.
"Lovely to see you again, brother." Ronan greeted, a lazy smirk resting on his lips as he watched his younger brother grip his sword. Arlow quickly looked between the two men, his confusion turning into terror. If he thought Levan was bad, he was sure Ronan was worse.
