Football Game

Ellie pov

Its been two weeks since the incident. My family has been more focused on me. Every time I want to go to dance I have to convince them to let me and Jamie go by ourselves.

This week my school is going up against Jayden school for football. I'm very happy to see him play yet terrified he will get hurt. We have a competition tomorrow and really need him.

Today is the game. Everybody is so focused on me and it's overwhelming. 

This week for dance I have a group dance a solo and a duo with  Jayden.

Today I kind of wanted to try a new style. though I knew there was noway I would get out of the house like this and just wanted to see thier reactions.

I put on some red lipstick and Smokey eyeshadow. 

I walked out in the kitchen and my whole family was looking at me like I killed somone.

"Hey," I simply said.

"Go change," my brothers and father yelled.

I just rolled my eyes and went up stairs and changed. I already had my outfit picked out and threw it on.       

I walked downstairs and my brothers still distant me wearing it but my dad gave in.

Today before the game I have to teach the mini dance team at th studio their dance. I won't see Jay because hes preparing for tonight. 

Mrs. Maddie loves my choreo for the minis. So in doing that. Once I get at the studio's girls are stretched ready.

After two hours I call Maddie and Gino in and they see the group.

They really liked it and the costumes were great. 

I was about to go back home until i heard Maddie calling my name.

"Whats wrong?"

"Jamie can't make the performance tomorrow. she's really sick," maddie says.

"It's alright tomorrow will come in at 5 so we can reblock."

"Thanks let Jay know for me. you can stay over i know your parents restrict and won't let you out  t five so say your at a friends."

"I was going to tell my mom that I have a competition and I help costumes amethyst what I doon my free time, and say I'm staying at one of my friends to finish the costumes."

She nodded and I went back home.

I packed a bag and told my mom about helping out. She was surprised at first but happy I had a hobby. She said it was alright and gave me my special shirt for football games. It has all my brother number than it says coaches sis and my cousins number too.

~Time Skip~

We arrive at  the football game and I sit with my parents. I see Jayden and he sees me too. He gestures to his neck mentioning me to show him necklace with his number on it.                              

I pull it out and he smiles. Mouths haftime and I nod. 

It was almost haftime so I said I was going to the snackbar. My dad gave me a ten and i went. As I got down the bleachers the buzzards sounded calling haftime .  The teams started running to their locker rooms. 

Jay spotted me and came towards me. 

"Hey in staying at your place tonight." I say

"You are?" He say with a smile.

"Yes Jamie is sick and we have reblock."

"Okay babe we can  work on the duo. I got to go. I love you so much."

"Love you too be careful."

He nods and jogs to the lockers. I was about to go back to my seat yet I was pulled back. I look back to see Steven.

"Why were you talking to him?"

"He saw my shirt and asked why I had so many numbers."

"Oh. I thought he was flirting."

" No he's to ugly Steven," I say totally lie. 

"Good now go to the stands with mom and dad."

I nod and go back to the stands.

As the game is nearing to a end my brother Steven sacked Jay. I gasped at the sight of him going down. Haystack made a touchdown but he still wasnt getting up. I wanted to go down there but I resisted the urge and stayed I'm my seat.

I watched intently at the field waiting for him to get up. 

I saw him sit up then get up and brush off what happened.

I let out a breathIng didn't know I was holding and watched as he gave me a reassuring smile.

As the same ended Jays team won 28 to 26. I was happy  won and went down to see my brothers. Of course Xavier and Marcos were passed but they intentionally tackled Jay because he talking to me.

I just sighed and told them i will see them tomorrow. They were about to interject before my mom explained my plans for tomorrow. I Nodded and said my good byes.

I walked to Jays car and quickly got in.

"Hey baby girl."

"Hey love, you played well but I thought you gt really hurt."

"I'm fine Anna (his nickname for her)"

"I know I just got worried."

"Theres nothing to worry about I'm fine and ready to regroup the group number."

I nod happily and we take off to the studio.
