Rainne thought that Amy had lost all respect for him. In truth, she did not care. Not at all. All Amy wanted was to do what she had to do, but in Rainne's case, he just wanted her heart. So the day went on, and Rainne was asleep for the next 3 periods. Rainne woke up to Amy shaking him in such a way that he felt his brain hitting his skull.

"It's lunch," Amy pauses "let's have lunch together."
"Ayt," Rainne says in his horrible yet somehow useful slang that sounded like it was made by some horribly illiterate hobo who had no friends.

As Rainne and Amy walked to the cafeteria, Ms.Pillie called Rainne to talk about the failed test, so they were separated.

*30 mins later*

Rainne had finally gotten out of Ms.Pillie's grasp. Now, he had to find Amy. Amy was actually sitting with her "girlfriends" behind the dumpster because all the seats had been taken. Rainne didn't know that. He kept on walking around, but he still couldn't find her. After 19 minutes, he decided to just sit somewhere secure where he could think about everything, also known as Amy.

*Bell goes off*

Right when the bell went off, he spotted Amy. He wanted to go to her, but she was surrounded by her "girlfriends", so he decided to just go back to class.

Amy's Lunch Period

"Do you think anybody likes you?" said Tiffany.

"Nah, anyone liking me would be a mistake." said Amy.

"Well, there's a guy in class who, apparently, can only make mistakes," Tiffany smirked, "Rainne."

"Oh...well, he's cute, but I honestly don't think it's a good idea for anyone to fall in love with a girl who's going to leave in around 5 or 6 days." Amy replied.

"Hey," Trix bumped in,"just tease him about it, as in, give him those moments, but don't actually do anything for your relationship so nobody get's hurt."

"You sure?" Amy replied in a rather uncertain voice.

"Yuh." Tiffany said in a voice that sounded like it came from a rich white girl who bought a pumpkin spice latte every fall.

As lunch period passed by, all Amy did was smile, but not because of the things her friends were talking about, but the thought of someone having a crush on her.

Last period

5 more minutes and they would be dismissed. Rainne had just woken up from his nap, and he felt like he needed to stretch. He stretched his hands to his back and was surprised when he felt something. It was Amy. Amy was holding his hand. Suddenly, someone throws a pencil at Rainne's face. Luckily, Rainne was hit by the end with an eraser.

"Are you okay?" Amy asks in a worried tone.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Rainne replied reassuringly.

As Rainne looked around for the culprit. the bell went off. Once again, Rainne was rushing to get out as soon as possible. However, Amy was able to put her hand on his shoulder right before he could dash through those gates, into the glorious freedom he desired almost half as much as he wanted to hold Amy's hand for five more seconds.

"Do you mind walking me home, Rainne?" Amy asks in a tone that makes her seem like she was a small, adorable, helpless puppy.

"Anytime, Amy," Rainne nods, "unless, of course, I get hit by a truck and become physically incapable of ever walking again."

"Oddly specific..." Amy whispers to herself.

"Let me carry your bag for you," Rainne points at her bag and gestures towards the gate, "shall we?"

They walk outside, into the woods, by themselves. Rainne stays about a half meter away from Amy for around 10 mins, but upon entering the deeper parts of the woods, Amy wraps her arms around Rainne's body while pretending to fear for her own safety. Rainne was happy at that moment. For once, Rainne was content. For once, Rainne felt that he was loved by someone.
