Rainne wanted to treasure this feeling. Although, he knew he had to say something or else things would go awkward real quick. Semi-frantically, he thought of some conversation topic they could both relate to.
"Oh my... I need help in the parts of a cell," Rainne remembered that he was completely clueless about this stuff, "any idea what the hell a mitochondria is?"
"It's basically the powerhouse of the cell," Amy recalled, "also produces energy for the cell."
"To be honest... I don't really care for my studies," Rainne paused, "its only my parents who actually care about that stuff."
"I miss my real family back at home so much," Amy sobbed, "I wonder how they are all doing..."
"Do you have any siblings?" Rainne asked in a desperate attempt to make sure the conversation kept going.
"Yeah," Amy starts thinking of her annoying sibling, "his name is Gerard, he is the most irritating, annoying and stupid creature I have ever met on this planet and probably will ever meet on this planet, but I still love him because he's family."
"Ugh," Rainne says as he remembers his little sister, Chelsea, "my little sister, Chelsea, is beyond annoying, she literally is the bane of my existence, if she did not exist in this world, I would be so much happier."
Rainne starts to get more and more furious about what his sister does to him, so he decides to just settle it with a statement.
"My relatives are awfully snoopy though," Rainne complains once again, "always asking me if I already have a girlfriend, which I obviously, do not."
"My foster family is kind," Amy says while completely ignoring Rainne's last statement about snoopy family members, "but still, they'll never be able to love me like my real family, and I'll never be able to love them back like I love my family back at London."
"Speaking of love...." Amy asks, "who do you like?"
Rainne turns red and keeps silent while staring directly into her eyes, followed by him looking away into the far distance to avoid any awkward eye contact.
After 20 seconds of complete, utter silence, Rainne decides to ask Amy , "Speaking of London, family, and all that...when are you going back to London?"
Amy did not respond.
