It'a the same thing over and over...
I keep hearing those words every day...
"IT'S ADOPTION DAY!"
"IT'S ADOPTION DAY!"

"Shut up! Can't you accept the fact that no one wants to adopt a 17 year old?" I yell, cutting off our attendance lady, Mrs. Haggelthorn.
I think that name suits her ugly ass just well.
"What did you just say to me, Miss?" Mrs. H. says, walking to me, now face to face.
"I said I'm on my way, sorry ma'am," I say, looking down. She scoffs and turns around, leaving my room.
I sigh loudly, and decide to change into something more fresh.
I change into a Blink-182 shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, and my black and white Converse, and decide to go downstairs to go stand by the other girls waiting to be adopted.

20 minutes later, a room full of people who want to adopt, and no one even comes up to me to ask me anything..
I duck my head down, and make a beeline for the seats, but as I'm walking, I bump into someone, knocking down both them and I.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! Here, let me help you up," I say, standing up.
"No, it's fine." The tall muscular man says, looking at me with those hazel colored eyes.
I pout my bottom lip out, holding my hand out. He smirks, grabbing my hand and pulling himself up.
I smile and chuckle a little.
"So what's your name?" He asks me, brushing his pants off,
"My name is Annabel Turcotte, what about you?" I say, with a little smile.
"Ashton Irwin," He says, smiling big.
"Are you here also looking to adopt?" He asks, pointing around.
I feel my smile disappear, and my eyes become shy, as I whisper a "No, I am here to be adopted,"
I look up to see your staring at me, wide eyed.
"Well, tell me about you, Annabel." He says, smiling.
"Well, I like music, food, sports, and penguins." I say, with a smile.
"That's cool, you sound cool, I like you. Would you want to be adopted by us?" He says.
