"Edward..." She said

"Yes?"

"I want to be your friend again but, your going to lie to me again. If you want me to be your friend again, your going to have to make me trust you again." She said slowly.

"Arleen please."

"I can't" she said and ran out of the hotel.
Everything was quiet for a moment. I walked to my room slowly. I was in my room and heard a car crash. I quickly looked out the window.

"Arleen!" I yelled and stormed off my room.

I got outside and saw Arleen on the floor with blood all over the floor.

"No no no no no!!" I yelled trying to wake her up.

It's been 2 months. Arleen hasn't woken up. She's alive, but not really. I've been going to the hospital everyday afterschool to check on her.
I'm on my way to the hospital to visit her. I miss her. If she wakes up, she's still going to hate me for lying to her...
I got to her room and sat down next to her. I usually talk to her about how my day was, how everyone misses her. I bet her parents don't even know she's like this.

"Hey Arleen." I said grabbing her hand.

I talked to her for 3 hours and it was late. It was 11:39 pm and I wasn't going to walk home this late. I decided to stay here with her.

I got woken up around 3 am by a noise next to me.

Arleen's heart wasn't beating....

"N-Nurse!!" I yelled running out the door.

"We need you to get out of the room."

"No I have to be there with her." I said trying to get in the room.

"You can't." The nurse said closing the door infront of me.

It had been a hour since the nurse kicked me out of the room. My phone was ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hi Edward. This is Arleen's mom. Can I speak to her?" Fuck.

"What do you mean? I've been trying to communicate with you for the past 2 months! Your daughter got in a accident and who knows if she's going to be alive!" I yelled angry.

"W-What??! Where on our way!" She yelled and hangged up.

It was about time she called. About time she asked how her daughter was, at the wrong time.

"Family members of Arleen?" The nurse asked. I quickly got up.

"Yes."

"She was awake for 3 hours but her heart stopped for a while. She's okay but she's in another comma and when she wakes up, she's probably not going to know who you are, she probably lost her memory." She said looking through her papers.

"Thank you. Can I go see her?" I asked.

"Yeah. If you or her need anything, were right here." She said and walked away.

'She was awake for 3 hours' Those words keept coming in my mind. She heard what I was talking about... She knows how much I miss her. She knows how much I miss her friendship, how much I love her...

"How is she?!" Her mom came in the room quickly.

"She's in a comma!" I yelled angry again.

*Two weeks later*

I was in her room again. Talking to her as always. I got up and kissed her forhead. I felt her move. She opened her eyes.

"Arleen! Your awake!!!" I yelled.

"Who are you?" She asked scared.

"I'm Edward, your bestfriend." I said.

"My bestfriend?" She asked.
