My Kinda Christmas

The confrontation

Reba was face to face with , a barrel of a gun staring her in the face. Reba put her hands up in fear , " Ma'm back down do not come any closer or , I will be made to shoot". Reba was terrified " I didn't do anything , all I've done is wait for 2 hours just to get help , and that girl right there has given me nothing but sas ".

The police officer lowered his gun " Ma'm when you approach an officer like that , it is taken as a threat don't do that again ". Reba gave the officer a look , " well I'm sorry next time I won't try and get help , for my god damn missing son , who could be god knows where , dead or alive".

" Ma'm you need to calm down , I can't do anything I am off my shift , you are going to have to ask someone else for help ". Reba was angry and started screaming " are you kidding me my son is fucking missing , and you have the damn nerve to tell me you can't help me , I thought the police were supposed to serve and protect , all I see is a man who thinks he is to good to do a god damn thing , all because he is off shift , he can't direct me to someone , he is gonna be a damn ass hole and not help ".

" Ma'm I am warning you , if you do not shut your mouth I will arrest you " , Reba looked the police officer in the face " If you won't help me I'll go find my son myself ". The police officer looked at Reba " How long has he been missing ". " My son has been missing for 3 hours" Reba wiped away the tears from her face " Ma'm we can't look for your son , he has to be missing for 24 hours" Reba started to cry harder. 

" If you won't help me find my son , I will find him myself" Reba walked out of the police station to the parking lot , and the police officer who was talking to her inside , walked out and grabbed her by the arm " wait Ma'm let me help you find your son , we can look for him in my truck its right over there , he pointed towards the other side of the parking lot .

" Okay , but why the change of heart"  , The police officer looked Reba in the eyes " because I hate to see a women crying , especially because shes lost her son or daughter" Reba walked over to the Police officers truck , and got in the passenger side and buckled her seat belt.
