"Why are we here?" Jace asks. "I missed this place!" I exclaim. Approaching the playground I remember playing on for years until I was taken. "I haven't." He mumbles. I sit on the swing, pumping my legs, letting my head swing back. My hood falls. "Rae, your hood." I shake my head. "I don't even care!" I let my hair flow in the wind, arms extended. "Rae-there are people here." I turn my head to see a few cars in the parking lot. Heiland lets out a low growl. "They're just people." I say. I run over to the slide and slide down. "Wheeeee!" I exclaim, sounding like a five year old. Then I hear sirens. "Those are probably for us, Rae!" Jace says with an angered tone. "This is New York, there's always crimes." I say. "Besides..." I stop talking when the police cars pull up. "Hands up, and tell your pet to stay!" A voice orders. "Heiland, stay." I demand. Heiland whines, but sits. I put my hands in the air. "Did we do something wrong, officer?" I ask in a calm tone. "Boy, take our hood off." Another officer demands. Jace lowers his hood. "It's the missing boy." The first one says. They run up and take him behind them, as if protecting him. I take a step forward, then a gun is pointed at my head. "Woah, woah, woah." I warn. Heiland is instantly up, growling. "Heiland! Stay!" I yell. She sits down reluctantly. "What is your name?" I gulp. "Rae Johnson." I say. "Yeah right, she's dead. What is your real name?" I hold in a laugh. "Rae. Johnson." I say again. "It's true, it's her." Jace says. "Handcuff her, we have to have a detective question her." They handcuff me and put me in the back of the car, the other cop puts Jace in the back of the other car and they pull out. We're passing down the road when I see Zaan and Edith walking towards the school.
