Ch. 13

Effie P.O.V.
(The song there I just thought it would fit in this chapter)
The girls are getting ready for the interview when I tell Nathan to stand behind a wall in a room that they are at.

"Okay, Nathan the short one is Katniss and she has no clue you're here. So please don't make any noise and we're going to make you do a video" I explain to him

"Ok. So I just go out there when they tell her how long we haven't seen eachother?" he questions.

"Yes. And how old are you?" I ask him

"I just turned 18"  he said.

So Peeta is older than him? I ask in my head.

"Oh. Ok you're older than Katniss. Let's just get ready." I tell him.

Katniss P.O.V.

"Mockingjays! Hello!" Steph says with excitement.

"Hi!!" We all say.

"Oh my god, you guys are so beautiful." Steph says.

"Aw" Cressida says. "Thank you" I say.

"Look at you. And you're bloody talented too, because I've got to tell you that your album 'Wings' is so good!" Steph says.

"Aw thank you" we all say.

"An I'm not just saying that, it's pure pop and it's finest hit, after hit, after hit, after hit on the album and I love it. You guys have done a phenomenon job" she says.

"Now Katniss we recently spoke to you at the end of last year over the phone and me and my coast Marty, and told us that you used to live in New Zealand. Which we had no idea. You said that living in Hamilton was the best time of your life." she told me.

"Should it not be?" I ask. "Well-" I cut her off.

"Why? What's wrong with Hamilton?" I ask in almost a whisper.

"I lived there for 8 months and I was happy to move out again." she says.

"No" I say shocked.

"I mean, it's okay. You went to school there right?" she asks.

"Yea. But I was only like 6 or 7." I say.

"Young start" Johanna says. "Yea." I say.

"But it was beautiful. I mean moving from Kentucky to Hamilton was a big difference. So I got to say." I tell her.

"Did you like that?" She asks.

"I did." I say.

"Good. And you did say during an interview that, um, you had a best friend." she questioned.

"Mh" I say.

"Called Nathan-"

"Mh"  I say.

"Now we actually put the word out to our Mockingbirds, your Mockingbird fans. And we said' Where is Nathan' hashtag 'Where is Nathan'." Steph says

I look at everyone shcked and I start laughing to make it less awkward. I see Johanna smile too.

Effie P.O.V.

"So they started talking and Nathan get ready." I tell him

He starts to get into position.

"And your Mockingbirds managed to track Nathan down and we asked him to send a video. Would you like to see it."  she asked Katniss.

"Yes. Yes of course" Katniss says all happy. That's when I get Nathan.

"He's so adorable" Steph says.

"What would you do if it wasn't Nathan?" Katniss says.

"Who is this jerk" Johanna says.

"Who is this crazy super fan. So here you go." Steph hands Katniss the phone.

"Oh my god it's actually Nathan!" Katniss says.

"Is that actually him?" Johanna says."Yes" Katniss says.

(Video of Nathan speaking: Hey Katniss. Hey girls. Look I'm so blessed that I got the chance to do this video today. Thank you to your fans, they were able to track me down. And now we are here today. Katniss, I was actually remembering something about us the other day thinking um how we used to sing Justin Timberlake in your garage. Correct me up good times. Hopefully we could do that again sometime. Uh look girls I know you're gonna smash your songs on tour. You're gonna smash them up, they're gonna love you. Really wish I could be there, maybe next time. Anyways girls have a smashing night. I love you Katniss and of course you girls. Bye.)
Then the rest of his his bandmates say bye and he blows a kiss.

"Aw! He's so cute" Katniss says.

"And that's so sweet. How many years has it been since you last saw Nathan...in person?" she asks Katniss. I see her look over and that's when I tell Nathan to quietly start walking.

"Let's say like 11 years maybe 12." Katniss says. That's when I tell Nathan to get ready and ge walks into the rain.

"He must look so different babe." Cressida asks.

"Anyways he still has his button nose, he looks a bit older- ahhhhhh" Katniss screams make Johanna yell aswell.

Katniss sees him and jumps up to hug him.

"Aww" Cressida says and everyone starts clapping.

Nathan greets everyone and sits down next to Steph. They hug one more time.
Katniss P.O.V.

"Surprise" Steph says.

"Oh my god, how have you been babe?" Nathan asks me.

"I've been better. Finally I got to do my dream as for you." I say.

"Remember that song we used to have this song and we had a dance?" Nathan asks.

"And we made a dance to-" and I started to do the dance.

"We just used to live in the warehouse and just buy stickers aswell" I say.

"Oh yea. I had a toy box full of stickers aswell." Steph says.

"We were part of the cool kids, make up our own games." I say.

"I'm still in shock. When I got told this, I couldnt sleep for days." Nathan says.

After the interview was over, I took out my Galaxy s7 edge and went on Snapchat.

I pressed record and yelled out 'Hello everyone this is my best friend Nathan!!'

We took many pictures and I posted one on Instagram(the pic of of miley and liam, just pretend its nathan and katniss).

I missed Nathan so much and we just caught up with eachother.
