Okay, now that I've gotten your attention. ;)

I have some big news!

But first of all on a personal note, I wanted to thank you gems for always being there. Without you, I wouldn't be writing this. You've all been wondering why I was gone and why I wasn't very active, well, here's why!

I'm getting published!

I know, I can't believe it either. (I've asked my friend to pinch me to make sure that I'm not dreaming) (at which point she proceeded to slap me...). I've been writing since I was about 12 years old, and every word I wrote, I hated, but you guys honestly showed me such compassion and support it made me want to write again. Without you, Van and Aira wouldn't exist. It's been nearly 5 years since Lady and the Wolf was first published on wattpad. I wrote this story during one of the toughest times in my life, and you guys got me through it. 

I wish I could give you something to show my thanks... like, I don't know, a birthday cake. Or a unicorn... But instead I've got something even better, (that's right, you are going to be running in circles like a gosh darn puppy!).

Because you guys are so awesome, I will be giving away never before seen content! Including ultra shorts, and a prequel. (no more boring nights without reading material for you!) You're about to see Van and Aira like you've never seen them before. 

Anyways before I get off on a rant.

The book is going to be published December 19th, 2016.

I'm still here on wattpad, but my publisher has asked me to take down the last few chapters before publishing for copyright issues. I know I promised you guys I wouldn't do that, but due to copyright laws and all that fun stuff only my lawyer understands, I have to. 

Just so you know, yes, I will be finishing Blood Bound. With the launch of Lady and the Wolf, I'll be making sure to give you guys special updates, side stories and more. 

And there are a few awesome things going on even before then.

With the release of Lady and the Wolf, I'll be doing a giveaway with a very special gift! And the best part? My publisher is setting me up with a fancy website (very professional), and they are going to be holding a cover contest. [say: whhhaaaaaattt?]. I actually think we're more surprised by the fact I actually have a publisher. 

That's right! And you can submit a cover, to become the official cover of the published book. And your name will be put in the book, and on the back of the physical cover of the book! Nothing would make me happier than having one of you amazing gems be the reason people want to read Lady and the Wolf. Here are the guidelines.

Just send the covers to me via the email in on my bio or in my conversations by December 5, 2016. The only requirements are:

Book Cover Guidelines

1. Know that if we choose your cover you will get credit ON the physical cover and inside the book. This can actually help you a lot as a graphic artist and bring you future work from us and other book publishers.
2. You will have to fill out a form that lets us have the cover.
3. You can not use any copyright images. You can use Royalty Free Images.
4. We need a high res format of the cover in JPG and Photoshop format, as well so that we can use it for the paperback version of the book.
5. Cover Image size should be 5.5 by 8.5 inches in 300 Pixels per inch resolution.
6. Hints....

The cover has to look good when Amazon Thumbnail size. The idea is that people WANT to click on it when they see the thumb nail.

The text needs to be readable.

You should use only 1 font.

The cover needs the title AND the authors name. 

The cover needs to have the Title "Lady and the Wolf" and the Author's Name "S.A. Cross" visible.

8. If your covers wins we will do everything we can to use it. If it wins we will WANT to use it because that will give us the most future sales. BUT... You do need to know that there can be odd reasons why we might not be able to. For example we might not be able to use the Photoshop file for some reason or we might find a copyrighted image in the cover design.

9. Submit your created cover on or before December 5, 2016.

By the way this is NOT mandatory. This is simply something to get you guys involved in the launch because you guys have helped me a lot to get here.

I will be giving you updates as it all happens. As of now, I will be very active on wattpad, focusing on Blood Bound and Lady and the Wolf. I know I've been throwing hints at you guys for ages, and now I can finally come out with it!
