      The next day, Youngjae woke up, to his surprise, Jaebum was not in his bed. Jaebum would normally be the latest to wake up so, Youngjae can't help but be surprise. "Where did Jaebum hyung go???" Youngjae mumbled to himself. "I am right here." Jaebum replied. Youngjae turned towards the direction of Jaebum's voice and was greeted by him dressed in his uniform already. "Did you already miss me???" Jaebum teased. This cause Youngjae to widen his eyes and flush furiously. "W-What??? N-No!!! I did not miss you at all." Youngjae said. "Liar." Jaebum thought to himself. "Hey, hurry up and get dressed, I want to eat breakfast together." Jaebum said. "O-OK." Youngjae replied. Youngjae quickly showers and get dressed, with that, they both headed out to the cafeteria together to get breakfast.

      They both brought their breakfast and sat down. "So, Youngjae, have you dated anyone???" Jaebum asked. "No, why would you ask that???" Youngjae replied. "N-Nothing, just curious." Jaebum said, he was happy that he will be the first to date Youngjae, that is, when Jaebum finds the right time to confess. They both continued to eat, lost in their thoughts when the school bell rung. They decided that they will walk to class together. When they reach their class, Jaebum told Youngjae to go in first and that he will only come for class after lunch, Jaebum also told Youngjae to go to the school's rooftop during lunch to find him so that they can have lunch together. Youngjae sighed when Jaebum said he will be skipping class but he was more than happy to find Jaebum during lunch so, Youngjae agreed. Youngjae went into the class, took his seat and after a few minutes, the teacher arrived.

      Lunch time came and Youngjae went to the rooftop, he found Jaebum sleeping. Youngjae walked towards Jaebum and shook him lightly, "Jaebum hyung, time to wake up." Youngjae said while shaking Jaebum. "Huh???" Jaebum replied, in a sleepy tone. "It's me, Youngjae." Youngjae said. When Jaebum heard that name, he immediately open his eyes and was greeted by an angel. Jaebum slowly sat up and said: "Hi." and he embraced Youngjae in a hug. Youngjae was surprise by Jaebum's sudden action but he liked it and Jaebum looks really cute to Youngjae when he is doing all this stuff in a sleepy manner. Youngjae can't help but let out a soft laugh. "Mark and Jackson didn't ask you to eat with them???" Jaebum asked, regaining his usual self. "They did but I decline them since I already promise you that I will meet you here." Youngjae replied. This made Jaebum really happy. Just like that, they spend their time on the rooftop talking to one another until the bell rung. "Hyung, come on. Let's go for class." Youngjae said. "What did you say??? Suddenly I can't hear you, I think there is something wrong with my ears, better get some rest. Goodbye." Jaebum replied and went back to sleep. Youngjae sighed and headed back to their class alone.

      After school, Youngjae went to the rooftop to ask Jaebum whether he wanted to head back to their dorm with him. Youngjae knew he was still there, he opened the door and he was right but this time, there was another guy with Jaebum. "So, Yugyeom, what did you want to ask me???" Jaebum asked. Yugyeom took out his phone and showed Jaebum a picture, Jaebum eyes widened when he saw what the picture was about, it was him and Youngjae hanging out this morning. "Dude, are you guys official???" Yugyeom asked. "What?! No!!! Come on man, you know I am straight, I was hanging out with Youngjae to get close to him and then, make him do all my homework. He is just my pet dog." Jaebum replied, lying. Youngjae couldn't believe, all this time, Jaebum was only using him??? Youngjae continued to listen. "Chill man. Even if you guys are together, it is still cool. You know the whole school will support your decision no matter what." Yugyeom said. "Like I said, Youngjae is only my pet dog, nothing more." Jaebum lied again, sending death glares to Yugyeom to make him close this topic. Yugyeom could only sigh at his helpless friend who only cares about his popularity.

      A few seconds passed, Yugyeom checked his watch and it was alittle late. "Dude, I will head back first, for some reason, I am so darn tired today." Yugyeom said. "I have to get back to my dorm as well. Let's go together." Jaebum said. They stood up, took their bags and headed towards the door when all of a sudden, Jaebum froze. Yugyeom stopped as well and immediately notice why, Youngjae was standing there, tears streaming down. "Good luck my brother, you are going to need it and just be honest to yourself for once." Yugyeom said and ran towards the door, leaving Jaebum and Youngjae alone. Once Yugyeom was out of sight, Jaebum said: "Youngjae, I-I can explain. I-" Jaebum was cut off by Youngjae saying: "Just shut up." and Youngjae just ran away. Jaebum soon followed him, running. "Youngjae!!! Wait!!!" Jaebum shouted but Youngjae didn't listen, instead, Youngjae ran faster.

      Jaebum chased Youngjae all the way to the front of the school but by the time he reached the front of the school, Youngjae was nowhere to be found. Jaebum decided to search the neighbourhood for Youngjae, after hours and hours of searching, Jaebum still had no luck finding Youngjae. He looked at the time on his phone and it was 8p.m. he decided to head back to the dorm and he is praying Youngjae will be there when he gets back but no, he reached his dorm and opened the door but nobody was inside. Jaebum felt really shattered, he collapsed on the floor, crying.

      Youngjae was still outside, he was in the cafe where Mark, Jackson and him would usually hang out. Youngjae has alot on his mind. "How can I not know he was using me all along??? Did I really think he felt the same way as I do??? What else did I think would make him change his attitudes towards me???" all these thoughts were filling up his mind and he let out a deep sigh he didn't know he was holding all along. Youngjae was at a lost on what to do, everything just seemed to fall apart, he thought his year was starting out fine but now, everything seemed so...... hard.
