Maddness

Azula sat in the room with the padded walls and floor. She sat in the corner.

She was aware of where she was, of her surroundings. Part of her blamed her mother. Maybe if she didn't think she was a monster, she wouldn't have became one. Maybe if her mother had belived in her, others would have too. Maybe if her mother loved her...

These thoughts faded away after a week. Now...now she just blamed herself.  It wasn't her mothers fault. She was born a monster, she had not became one. She let herself become one. She let it happen because she wanted it. Her mother did love her, her mother did belive in her, Azula was the one that didn't.

After a month she had stopped thinking. She didn't leave her room. She would be dead if the doctors didn't force her to eat and drink.

In the third month she moved. Her maddness turned in depression and she had started to cut.

And then the cycle would start over. She blamed it on different people, it was mostly her parents. But, she always blamed it on herself in the end.

She would start to lay in bed all the time and then the cutting would start.

This cycle went on for a year. She never used her bending, she seemed to have forgotten how. The only time she would talk is to yell at the doctors when the tried to get her to do stuff.

She had no visitors in this time. Until today.

Azula sat in the room with the padded walls and floor. She sat in the corner.

Ty lee missed Azula. She hasn't talked to her, she hasn't seen her since the day she betrayed her. Since she learned of Azulas mental breakdown, she had tried to go and visit her, but the Kyoshi Warriors wouldn't let her. They said it was too dangerous.

Ty lee dreamed of Azula. Sometimes it would be of Azula going crazy, these ones scared her, other times it would be of her and Azula. Her and Azula together.

She knew what these dreams meant. She had known for a long time. Why do you think she wanted to go and see her so bad.

No one knew of this.

These feelings and these dreams were starting to take over Ty lee. She was started to think that herself was going crazy. She acted like her cheery self, but on the inside she was sad. Very sad.

The others noticed this. They figured out what was going on. They decided that Ty lee was more of a danger to herself than Azula was to her. It was the only reason they let Ty lee go and visit Azula.

Azula sat in the room with the padded walls and floor. She sat in the corner.

The door opened.

"Azula," he said kindly, "you have a visitor."

Azulas head shot up. Was this some kind of joke? She got up and followed the doctor out of the room. They walked into the main room. Sitting at a table, alone, playing with some cheaker peices was Ty lee.

Azula felt her her heart speed up. The first time she felt any thing in a year. She had never felt this way before. Even when she was sane, when she was a monster, she had never felt this way. Who have thought that cold hearted Azula would ever be able to feel anything.

"Ty lee." She spoke quietly, but loud enough for Ty Lee to hear. The doctor smiled. It was the first time Azula talked calmly since she had gotten here.

Ty lee looked up at Azula. For a moment they stared at each other, then Ty lee jumped up and pulled Azula into a hug. "I missed you, Azula." she said into Azulas shoulder.

"I missed you too, Ty lee."

Ty lee pulled away. "Want to play some cheakers?"

Azula nodded and smiled.

It was the first time she smiled in a long long time.
