He always told me I'd be safe in his arms, and I was stupid enough to believe him. I was taught that home is not a place, but anything that makes your heart feel warmth. His arms made me feel warmth. I could hear his heart beating and racing against mine as my head laid on his chest. The feeling of his arms behind my back wrapped tightly around my waist . I just felt safe, like if I were to die in that moment, it'd all be okay, because I'd be dying happily at home. In his arms as he warms my heart, just the both of us, home. I have nightmares of him, haunting me. His smile laughing at me , teasing me as if this was all just fun and games to him. I can feel the walls close in and as the room becomes smaller, his grip becomes tighter. He takes his right hand to brush my chin and lift my head up to his. He kisses my lips gently as if he knew this was the last time I'd see him. Something to remember him by. The sensations I feel all over my body when he kisses me. The tingling in my feet and the giggles in my throat. The happiness in my heart. As his lips rest onto mine and I hide my head into his neck, he vanishes. He goes back to where he belongs, leaving me here. All alone, with no home, so I will find home, even if it kills me.
