I had a friend;
One that I cared for.
My greatest memories
Were spent with them.
However, these memories turn dismal,
For our friendship had come
To a most unfortunate end.
It's been 6 months
And I've still not gotten over
The idea that
It's never going to be the same again.
It just isn't the same anymore.
It just won't be the same anymore.
And I need to get over that fact:
That no matter how many times
I'll see them,
We'll never look at each other
The way we did before.
