Anyways, I'm not exactly sure what these are call, but sometimes I kinda just get fragments of story ideas stuck in my head, so I've decided to write them down.

As she looked out her window into the midnight sky, she felt both full and empty at the same time. The color of the sky that night was unlike anything she had ever seen before. She knew that if she were to fall asleep that night, she would never see it again.
It was an incredible shade of dark, dark blue. She could get lost in it for hours. She wanted to. When she tried to pull herself away, the beautiful dark blue sky crept back into her mind, and she felt empty. She knew that she would always remember that feeling.
As much as she wanted to capture the color of the sky that night and drown herself in it, take in all of it, fill her entire being with it, she knew she wouldn't ever find that color anywhere else but outside her window on that cold, October night. She wanted to stay up all night and watch the sky, but still, she soaked up as much as she could and whispered "Goodbye,"
