Chapter 11 ~ The dream that changed everything

3rd Person POV

"Oh my Gosh! Really?!" Aphmau stood up from where she was sitting.

"Yeah.. I felt sorry about the lecture Zoey gave you... I know how sensitive you are..."

"Thank you soo much Isabelle!" Aphmau went up to zoey and hugged her.

And with that Isabelle left Aphmau's home and left her to sleep.

Aphmau's POV

Oh my Gosh! I can't believe it! Isabelle allowed me to see my friends again! Usually she follows the rules, but.. Now... Ah! Nevermind! I have to sleep in order to have energy for tomorrow!

I fell asleep thinking about what will happen.

I waited for Aaron, Garroth, and Laurance in the field where we met.

and Waited...

Where could they be? Just then I smelled something... Or..

I stood up and ready to attack. I saw a green wolf and a black wolf come out of the bushes.

I growled at them

"Haha!" The black wolf laughed.

"What's so funny?" I asked him.

The black wolf looked behind him at the sky..

There was smoke... Coming from Pikoro! I ran passed the two wolves to Pikoro.. It was covered in the red light mom and dad talked about, it destroyed everything in its path, they told me to stay away from it at all costs. Everything was being destroyed! I ran up to where Zoey was laying.

"Zoey! Zoey, what happened?! Zoey please!" I yelled.

"Aphmau..." she choked out the words.

"Zoey! Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" I asked with tears in my eyes.

"Why did you have to leave, Aphmau? Why..." She said before her head fell to the ground.

I woke up screaming... What kind of dream was that? Ugh... Whatever.. I just, need to forget it.. I walked outside, to see everything was fine. The red light wasn't destroying anything, everyone was okay... *Phew!* Now I can just go see Garroth, Laurance and Aaron! I started to trot towards the exit but Zoey stopped me.

"Aphmau! You're awake!" She smiled. "Hey, can you do me a favor?"

"Uh.. Yeah sure!" I really want to leave but it would be rude of me to just leave...

"So we are having a birthday celebration of one of the pack members child! I was wondering if you could help setup?" She asked, still with a smiled on her face.

I can't.. Not now.. I told Garroth, Aaron and Laurance I would meet them when the sun is up! Urgh... Just tell them you have to go somewhere they will understand, they always do!

"Um.. Well.. I was going to..." Quick! Think of an excuse! "Uh.. I was going to go get... Food! Yeah.. I'm kinda hungry..." I forced a smile.

"Oh.. Well when you come back you can help finish up what ever is left! Okay?"

"Of course! I'll be back soon!" I turned around and left. When I got on top of the hill that over-looks the pack the dream came back to me again.

"AH!" I tried to shake the thought out of my head.
