Light In The Dark

Chapter 4

I ran towards the boundary and hid to find red, menancing eyes of the rouges. Waiting for the right moment to attack. Their eyes became a darker shade of red  and snarled at my way meaning they've already spotted me.

One rogue leaped towards the warrior nearest to me catching him off guard. Then one by one they attacked.

All in different directions. While we attacked back. I shifted to my wolf form when one massive rogue headed straight towards me.

Must've been their leader. My wolf, Maia said. But from what it looks like, he isn't their leader somehow.

He went towards my neck. Sorry big boy, but I'm the future freakin Alpha. So I easily dodged his attack. I bit his his hind leg almost biting his thing. He groaned in pain and landed on his face quickly getting up to fight me again.

So you wanna fight, huh? Well, I'll show you what a real fight is. Maia said.

So I fought just the way I liked it. I slammed him with full force on the nearest tree. The sound of cracked bones stood out in the sounds of ripping heads, growls, whimpering and dying wolves. He fell hitting his head in a big rock.

Much to my surprise he still managed to stand up. Even when he hit his head on a big rock. And he didn't even have a single drop of blood on his face! He's not ordinary, he's definitely something else.

He slowly walked towards me. Like a predator waiting for his meal. Then I of course did the stupid thing and attacked him.

He easily dodged my attack and bit my neck.

I shifted to my human form, quickly going behind the tree to change into a big grey shirt that reaches mid thigh and a pair of black leggings.

"Shift." I ordered him with full authority. So he did, and damn look at that body. Whoo! Let me tell you something he's so freaking handsome and hot like volcano.

Is this man really a werewolf or a vampire? I don't know but I don't actually complain. And damn one thing for sure is I won't tell you how big his buddy is.

His eyes pierced through my soul. If eyes could kill I would be a dead meat. He took a step forward, well I of course took a step backward. An emotion flashed through is eyes but disappeared as fast as it appeared.

I cannot take a step backward since the tree decided to be a bitch and took a step forward so I am now trapped.

His hands slammed besides my head completely trapping me. The sound of tree cracked loudly underneath his hands when he slammed.

"Looks like its my turn now." He whispered huskily in my ear. And the last thing I saw was his red eyes.

I tried to open toeyes but I can't, its like someone putted glue in my eyes while I was gone. Wait, am I really gone?

I tried to open my eyes a little bit, causing my eyes to hurt because of the sudden light, "Shit," I hissed trying to get used to the bright light. "Where am I?" I asked, even though no one's here.

"You're in the hospital." A manly voice replied. My eyes got used to the light and I fully opened my eyes to see the man.

"You look familiar." I said, pretty sure I've met him before.

"Of course I do, I'm the one who knocked you out." He said as if it's a small thing.

"This isn't my pack's hospital," I said with confusion and anger in my voice. "Where am I?" I asked again.

"Like what I have said, you're in a hospital." The man said seriously.

"What pack am I in?" I replied anger lacing in my voice. I heard him mutter something but I didn't pay attention and glared at him.

"You're in the Scarlet Beast pack, I'm Xander, the beta of this pack." He replied more seriously this time.

Shit, Scarlet beast is so far from my pack and I don't even know where this pack is located 'cause all I know is that this is the second strongest pack and the second biggest pack. Nobody knows where they live and only they know.

"I have to leave, thanks for taking care of me." I tried to stand up but my head pounded.

"You won't be able to stand up. I might've hit you to a bit too strong." He said a little softer and looked down at his hands.

"How long am I out?" I asked curiously.

"About 5 days." He answered casually.

"You knocked out for 5 days and you said it as if I'm out for 1 hour." I said dumbfounded.

He just shrugged and said sorry blatantly.

"Where's your Alpha?" I asked paying no attention to his sorry.

"Do you really ask this many questions?" He asked a bit pissed. He's so weird.

"Just answer me."

"He's in a meeting."

"About what?"

"I don't know. Probably about if we should kill you or let you live."

My eyes widened in surprise. Why would they kill me? Do they want a war between my pack and his?

"Don't look surprise. It's the way we do it. You're pretty special if the Alpha let you live, because no one lived." He said.

"Really?" I asked a bit shocked. I never imagined that this pack is cruel. Believe it or not but Black Shadow is known for their kindness. I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Do you think I'm lying?"

"Yes."

Then suddenly a mouth watering scent of woods and fresh rain hits my nose. A man  similar to Henry looks like came into the room.

"Bella," the man said sternly. "How are you feeling right now?" He asked sternly, I didn't know what his expression is because I lowered my head.

"Fine." I replied softly.

"Henry, take her to your room. She's staying with you." With that said my lifted my head as fast as lighting. Bad move, by the time I lifted my head my blue eyes met his green ones. Then suddenly, I have this electric feeling.

My eyes widened in shock I don't want a mate yet. I'm only 17! And the age that you are supposed to meet your mate is 20.

"Henry, don't take her to your room. She's staying with me." He growled keeping the eye contact.

"What?! No, I'm not staying with you or anybody else." I refused still keeping my eyes with him showing anger in my voice.

"Fine, sleep on the floor." He said seriously while a small smirk made its way to his face.

"No!" I shouted at him. There's no way I'm sleeping on the floor.

"Well then, choose, my room or my floor." He said a cocky smirk on his face and challenging me.

Do I have a choice? No.

"Your room." I muttered.

Hey, I know I'm a shitty author always posting those notes. I know it took me forever to update, forgive me. I know this story is also shitty. But thank you for waiting.
