Chapter 9

"You are the chosen."

The chosen? The last time I heard that was from the elders when I was 4.

=Flashback=

"Bella, your father and I are going to go meet the elders today. Your father and I are going to be gone for 2 days. Be a good girl while we're gone, okay?" My mother knelt to look at me straight in the eye and held my shoulders. Her eyes full of worries of what might happen if they left me alone.

"Rosalinda, wouldn't it be better if we take her with us? A pack of rouges might attack again." My father suggested coming near to me and my mother.

My mother stood up and turned to face my father. My mother whispered something to my father's ear and they both left the room heading to the north wing.

Once the footsteps were faint I followed them quietly. They knocked at Alpha Jack's office and came in. I putted my ear next to the door to hear what they are discussing.

"Alpha." My father greeted with respect.

"I heard that both of you are going to Italy." Alpha Jack said in a serious tone.

"Yes, Alpha." My mother confirmed.

"What about Bella?" Alpha asked with a hint of anger in his voice.

"We are planning to leave her here Alpha." My mother said quietly but enough for everyone to hear.

"No." My father quickly disagreed.

"Yes, John. We are going to leave her here." My mother protested.

"We won't." My father protested back.

"John, I think it's the best if you leace Bella here." Alpha calmly said.

"No! What if the children bullied her? Who will take care of her if we... will not be able to come back?" My father's voice started to get lower and lower 'til I can't hear it.

"John..."

Alpha Jack stood up and walked near the door. I quickly ran but Alpha Jack was too fast and I was caught. Alpha made me come in, in his office where I saw my father's eyes are shining like a glass because of his tears. He had his head down and with my mother right beside him her arms around him in a comforting manner. When my mother saw me, she was shocked. She didn't felt my prescence and so is father.

"I knew you were eavesdropping Bella." Alpha said sternly.

"I'm sowwy." I apologized, filled with guilt as I knew that eavesdropping is bad and lowered my head.

Alpha sighed and knelt fown in front of me. He lifted my head with his hands and looked at me straight in the eyes.

"Bella, I think you should know this by now but it seems like your parents didn't want to tell you." He softly said. He glanced at my parents and looked at me again. I was curious of what my parents didn't want to tell me so I asked Alpha Jack.

"Alpha, what is my pawents didn't want to tell me?" My little voice asked him filled curiosity.

"You," Alpha Jack looked at my parents for approval and they both nodded. "You are the chosen."

I decided to carry him and bring him to the nearest hospital. Se leva is giving me directions where since she can sense where wolves are and humans within 100m. Yeah, I know. She's a beast.

'In the sheets. ;)'

'Se leva!'

'What?? I'm still a beast while I'm sleeping, you perv.'

'Shut up.'

I blushed and just continued walking. After, like, 100 years we are finally in the hospital. Of course we asked permission to enter which they quickly granted. Weird.

Oh and by 100 years it's just 2 hours of walking.

"Yeah cause your fat ass just got tired after 2 hours of walking, great job." Se leva said sarcastically.

"My fat ass is also yours since we're practically in one body." I pointed out and she suddenly became quiet. Probabaly because I'm right.

We walked inside the hospital and the conceptionist, nurses and pack doctors quickly bowed.

What the hell is happening? I thought.

The guy you're carrying is their alpha. Se leva pointed out.

A doctor quickly took the guy from me and brought him to the emergency room.
