She's broken on the inside
And you cannot repair
What 17 years have done
To make what she's become
She's an angel with a crooked smile
And scars drawn in her wrists
She hides them under long sleeves
And fake happiness
She can't express what she's feeling
Because she doesn't know
She can't explain her sadness
It comes so easy though
She's an angel with tainted wings
Who can no longer fly quite straight
She's had abuse from others
That tell her that she's fake
That she doesn't belong
And doesn't deserve to live
But she's has a future
And far much more to give
She's an angel with a broken spirit
And not one sense of hope
Now she floating in the air
Off the end of a rope
People say she doesn't belong
And just deserves to die
She once had a future ahead
But there will never come a time
