Bring me back from where I have gone,
Because I am feeling so lost,
And I can't find my own way through the dark,
Because I ran out of thread miles back.
And can you help me where there's no light?
Can you help me through this life?
Can you help me traverse the darkness?
Or will I just be left here, stranded?
I walked too far on the beaten path.
I thought that it would forever last,
And now I have reached an end,
And have to try and start again.
But somewhere I got turned around,
And it feels there's no way back,
And I can't seem to find my way through,
As this darkness appears to surround me.
