'Crash!' The wave carved at the shore, eroding the sand away. The sun was setting beautifully. I glanced to the right of me, to see Urashima staring in awe at the sun set, the light reflecting in his Brown eyes. " Urashima, I have to return home." The wind brushing through my short black hair as I exclaimed this, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"[Y/n], we are moving villages." Mother exclaimed sadly, who became intrested in the wooden floor. Shocked, was not the only emotion that played with my muscles on my broken mask, mainly anger and sadness. I couldn't speak, what was I meant to do? Leave Urashima alone without anyone, sure he is really cute, he would surely get a wife. But I want her to be me.
I sprinted towards Urashima's house as fast as possible, the feeling of salty tears barrelling down my cheeks, coolled by the wind. A wooden door appeared infront of me, and taking a deep breath, I frantically knocked. "[Y/n]?!" a half-asleep Urashima stated. Waking up a bit more, he could see the tear-strain tracks running down my face,"[Y/n]...," he stated just above a whisper as if he was afraid to break me. " did you find out?" suddenly intrested in the floor. He sheepishly looked up and smiled sadly at me, "Sorry." tears welling up in his chocolate coloured eyes.

That memory was several years ago, I didn't notice tears welling up untill loud sobs echoed through out the empty house. Came to think of it he was my only friend, everyone either disliked me or was fake towards me. A hand rushed towards my rosy lips while trying to calm myself down but failing. Now that Urashima has gone missing, I had no-one left, not even my parents who were at work again, leaving me alone.
Not taking this anymore, I rushed towards the forest. My legs aching with every stride I took. Dodging trees and fallen branches, taking alot of energy out of me. " I'm sorry...-" I started but was rudely interruped by my legs collapsing beneath me. It was a darker night than most seeing as the sky was crying with me. Losing my grib on reality, I looked up at the darkness and could do nothing as it swallowed me.

"Excuse me miss?" an unfamilar voice called out to me. Reluctantly I let the blinding light enter my tired hazel eyes. "hmmm?!" suddenly patting the ground next to me, but it felt incredibly soft. Springing up straight, instantly regreting the pounding headache it gave me. Ignoring it, I scanned my surrounding area, a small, black japanese bobtail came into view. A quite cough rang through my ears, snapping my head towards the ajar door. A man, almost as tall as me, was standing there apologentically. "Sorry for waking up you up." his short, black bangs covered the top half of his eyes.
" How are you feeling? You were very pale when I found you." The male questioned curiously. "Hmmm." I stated unintrestedly. His chocolate eyes narrowed, shaking his head his black lock swung back and forth."Miss may I ask for your name?" He asked politely
"[L/n] [Y/n], yours?" I questioned slightly intrested.
"Honda Kiku."
"Well it was nice meeting you Mr.Honda, but better get going." Dramatically bowing while putting on my happiest voice and fakest smile. Curtly noding, he moved aside and gestured me to follow. Walking throuh town, memories of Urashima and I gracefully danced through-out my mind. Focusing back onto the dirt track before me, a familiar house appeared. As if frozen in time, I stared at 'his' house.

Looking up at the gloomy sky, it seem like a pattern, whenever I think about Urashima, the sky cries with me. My gaze wandered from the sky to the deck. A dark shadow fell apon me, a sea monster like wave was directy above me. "Crash" Holding my breath, I clung onto the mast waiting until the wave passed. Crabs and fish found their way onto the ship's deck. A bright glow passed my field of vision. Looking around for anything that i could light to signal back, but no luck since everything was wet to light.
"Boom!"
Thunder rumbled through this endless ocean, while a flash of lighting illuminated my ship. Silently, I cried wish that I went back to shore, and that I would be found. As the storm continued, my eyelibs seemed to weight more than the Earth, nothing could stop them from falling.
"A survior? Crew quick help me carry her." A rough yet smooth demand. I could no longer hear the sound of thunder or feel the coldness the rain gave me.
The light shone through my pale eyelids. A figure stood before me, tall and slender. Blinking, my eyes focused on this figure. Long, dark hair, tied up and slung over his shoulder, hazel eyes and a chinese, sailor uniform that went past his fingers. In short cute. "Hello, I'm the captain of this marvelous ship. Wang Yao, but you can call me Yao."The male exclaimed proudly while pointing to himself. "Ahhh... [L/n ] [Y/n], and if we are being informal, you can call me [Y/n]." I smiled, and not a fake one, Yao was already having an affect on me.
A year passed and Wang Yao recruited me into his crew as a chef, but still keeping an eye on me, metophorically. My search for Urashima continued but i don't feel the same way about him like I did. Yao was giving me a feeling of happiness unlike Urashima. I am smiling more, he never seems to make me feel sad.
"[Y/n]... may i speak with you?" Looking at the wooden deck nervously Yao asked.
"Hmmm...sure Yao." I replied with a red hued crossing my cheeks.
"Please follow me." He stated hurriedly. Following the male, wolf whistles bounced off the walls. Catching up to Yao, I caught him glaring at the crew.
"[Y/n]... I love you" taking a deep breath, waiting for rejection.
"I love you too." I purred while squeezing the life out of him.

Wang Yao later proposed to me and got married in my home village. It was a small wedding though. "Well thats my life up untill now." I said while closing a red and gold journal. I gazed out of the window. It was sunset, just like the one when I was little, my last day with Urashima. "Urashima, if you can hear this, thank you for causing my life to turn like this, even if it was lousy at the start. I found someone who loves me like I love him," smiling, I muttered, "Thank you."
