Looking up, only to see a long barrel in front of me. Death was knocking on my door for a long time now, time to let him in. The British troops toke over why? I don't know, all I know is that after World War 1, the Polish was given back their land. The Germans were not happy with this and tried to take back 'their land', along side the Russians. Since Britain and Poland were 'allies', the alliance system brought the whole world into this. Using the attack to their advantage the British decided to take over the world and 'bring it back to it's former glory'. I decided to joined the Japanese military to do everything in my power to stop them and defend my country, even though I do admit the propaganda was not helping.
In the dead of night, it was silent, no sounds were heard except the faint snores of my fellow soldiers. 'Snap'. Spinning my head around only to meet darkness, scanning the area to find at least some movement. Suddenly a hand covered my mouth, muffling all sounds trying to escape. Being dragged away, out of my territory, away from my friends and comrades.
The fear of the unknown was crawling up my spine like a spider. The feeling that my body was being used for someone else's pleasure was disgusting, sickening. " Stop it, it hurts!" I begged, trying to push them away. " Quiet, fool, you shall do as I please." He demanded as they continued further. The raspy voice and accent is what gave it away, he was a British soldier, by his tone, a commander at least.
The war was raging on beyond these wall. While I'm here trapped, sulking. My country is suffering and I can not help. What kind of man am I if I don't defend my country. A dead one. Why did I get captured, I should be out there. Why was I stupid enough to let myself get captured. LET ME OUT OF HERE, I can't take it, let me out, let me out.' I thought as I broke down crying, the end phrase kept repeating over and over again. The bangs and booms that surrounded these walls were nothing but a dull roar as my sobs filled the room. I felt like the room was spinning, my eyelids were too heavy. Falling unconscious, knowing that I was stuck here until I let death in. My body hit the cold, hard floor. I'm sure that would leave a mark.
Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, the longer I stay here the weaker I get. Not much water and inedible foods were my only source of survival. Up until now, very few have come to talk to me. " Oi Ching Chong, get your bloody arse over here!"  A British soldier shouted. Slowly waking up, I walked towards the cell door." The world has surrendered, the Allies have won, we now rule the world, the world is ours." He explained. He opened the door and gestured to follow. Following his demand knowing very well that disobeying the order would have me killed.' How many tickets 'to live today' are left?' I wondered. He pointed to a chair and strapped my in.' Apparently none' I continued." I'm sorry, if this was a different scenario, we could of been allies, maybe even friends. I'm Arthur, Arthur Kirkland." The Commander said with a smile. Nodding I replied with,
" Kiku, Honda Kiku."
