Dinner

(That's the seating arrangements for the dinner)

Maya's P.O.V

Me and Riley got home, we have one hour before the dinner so I quickly get dressed, Riley does my hair and I do my make, then Riley puts on her dress and I do her hair. I curl it a little and leave it down and she does her make up.

We walked downstairs where everyone was waiting. There I saw Shawn waiting with everyone else. Shawn is my Step father, everyone in my family calls him dad but I just can't bring myself to call him dad.

"Hey Shawn" I said "hi Kiddo" Shawn said. "No no no and No" Mark said as he walked up to me "what's wrong? Earlier you liked this dress" Maya said "that was earlier, but now that I see it on you.. I don't like it" Mark said.

"I think she looks beautiful", mum said and she hugged me "thanks mum" I said "now we just have to wait for the Matthews, they shouldn't be too long" mum said. The door belle went off "there they are" Mum said and she opened the door.

"Hi everyone!" Topanga said "hello people!" Cory said. We all greeted each other when I noticed that someone else was there. "Riles... what is Josh doing here?" I whispered. "He's part of the family Maya" Riley whispered back and she walked off. Mark walked towards me.

"What's wrong?" Mark asked. "Josh is here" I said. "Oh... imma kill I'm swear!" Mark said. I grabbed his hand and pulled him back. "Mark" I said "Maya I told him never to step foot in this house again. And look where he is! In this house" mark said,

"Are you two alright?" Mum asked as she saw us talking. "Fine. We are fine. Aren't we Mark?" I asked "completely fine" Mark said. "Not" he mumbled. "Okay, well dinners ready"  my mum said, we walking into the dinner room and sat down.

I was next to Mark and Lucas, Riley was in front of me with Farkle next to her and Josh on her other side. (Picture above shows where everyone is sitting). Mark was tapping his fork on the table at a fast pace.

"Mark is something wrong?" Shawn asked. "Nothing" Mark said through gritted teeth whilst he was glaring at Josh. We ate dinner silently. All you could be was marks fork tapping the table every now and again.

"So how has everyone been?" Someone asked. I looked up and that someone was josh. "We've been wonderful, how about you?" My mum said."I've been good" josh said. I could see all of my brothers where glaring at Josh every once in a while.

The door bell rung and I stood up. "I'll get it" I said as I walked towards the door. I opened it to see the one person I'd never thought I'd see again. My real father. "Maya" he said "dad" I said I heard a fork drop from the kitchen.

"Can I speak to you?" He asked "uh.. sure" I said I closed the door. "I still have custody over you. I want you to come live with me and my family" Kermit said. "Are you crazy? I have a family Kermit. I don't want a new one. Especially one with you in it" I said.

"Don't you dare speak to your father like that!" Kermit said, "your no father to me" I said. The front door opened and I turned around to see Lucas. "They wanted me to keep and eye on you guys... so yeah" Lucas said and he closed the door. "Come live with me Maya." Kermit said.

"I am never going anywhere with you" Maya said. "What did I say about Speak to you father like that!" Kermit said. "Your not my father! Your just some dirty old scumbag who claims that your my dad!" I said and he slapped me. I fell over.Everything was blurry but I could see Lucas punch Kermit.

He grabbed my hand and we walked inside. Everyone looked over at us, my mum looked very shocked she ran to me. I must've hit my head on something since I was bleeding "oh my god, my poor baby girl what happened!?" My mum asked, Shawn ran up to me also with Riley and the rest of my family.

"Kermit happened" Lucas said. "Oh baby girl" mum said and she hugged me. We went to my room and I laid in bed, Lucas didn't leave my side once. "He slapped her!?" I heard Shawn shout from the living room.

"Shawn calm down" mum said "how can I calm down!? That sick bastard hurt my daughter!" Shawn shouted "Shawn the kids will wake up" my mum said "I want to take this to court" Shawn said "and do what?" My Mum asked.

"Kermit still has custody over Maya. And I don't want that. I'm going to take this to court and get custody over Maya" Shawn said. "And who is going to represent you in court? We don't know any lawyers" my mum said,

"I do. Topanga is going to represent me." Shawn said. Mum and Shawn walked up the stairs to my room. "Hey Maya how are you feeling?" Mum asked "better I guess" I said "Shawn wants to take this to court" mum said

"I heard" I said "are you okay with that kiddo?" Shawn asked "that's the most okay thing to ever happened to me" I said and Mum smiled. Shawn didn't. "There's a boy in your bed" he said "Lucas wouldn't leave and he fell asleep" I said.

"That's cute but he's still a boy." Shawn said. "I'll make sure he goes to his own room when he wakes up" I said. Shawn and mum left. I felt Lucas's arm move around my waist and he cuddled into me. I cuddled him back and I giggled and Eventually I fell asleep.
