Teddy and Blankets

Katy woke up early this morning to make breakfast for the family.

Maya quietly walked down the stairs to see her family all eating breakfast together, everyone slowly looked over at Maya everything seemed different but no one knew why.

Maya even looked different, she was wearing a baggy t-shirt, bunny slippers , her hair was up in a messy bun and she was cuddling a blanket and a teddy bear.

"hey Maya, are you okay?" Shawn asked as he walked towards Maya.

"I um.. I don't know" Maya quietly whispered

"are you going to school today?" Katy asked

"no. no I don't want to" Maya said

"Why not?" Rachel

"I um-"

"its fine Maya, take the next few days off. me and shawn will figure out some things and then when you are ready you can go back to school" Katy said

"Wait who is going to stay home with Maya?" Noah asked

"I can. I mean I don't have many classes today and the classes I do have Mark is in and he can tell me what we learn" Lucas said

"Are you okay with that?" Lucas asked Maya

Maya stared at him for a while

"um... yes"

"are you sure?" lucas asked

"yeah" Maya said and she headed back to her room without getting food.

"ill go check on her" Lucas said, he grabbed some food and walked up to Mayas bedroom.
