"Please bring the second defendant forward." The judge said. I walked up. My brother was stood opposite me. "Are you Charlotte Mae Eloise White?" He asked. "I am." I replied. "Aged 16 years of age?" He added. "Yes." I said. "On March 24th of this year, you attacked Lawerence Alexander Hugo White. Is that correct?" He asked me. "Not attacked!" Mum shouts. I look down in shame. "Enough!" The judge shoots back. "Miss White. Is that correct?" He adds. "Yes." I reply. "Your brother has just admitted to shooting your grandad. And you supposedly helped him. Is that correct also?" He asked. "Yes. I did." I replied. "Lachlan. Do you plead guilty or not guilty?" He asks my brother. "Not guilty." He says. "Charlotte? How do you plead?" He asks me. Long silence. "Guilty."
