Footsteps creaked down the hallway. Eridan was sleeping soundly in his bed, warm and safe beneath his bedsheets. The other troll, quietly making his way down the hall, was named Sollux. He felt the sparks rumbling inside of him as he came closer and closer to the one he hated.

"Not yet," he whispered to himself. "Just wait." As he came upon a door he knew this was the one. This was Eridan's bedroom. He sensed it through the sparks. Sollux sensed him, feeling the need to hear his pain. Slowly, Sollux turned the knob, and tiptoed into the room. He scanned the room, and his eyes fell upon the bed in the corner. Eridan stirred, causing Sollux to almost snap back to reality. Almost. Sollux crept towards the other troll, savoring the adrenaline coursing through his veins. He heard his heartbeat loudly in his ears as he felt the sweet, sweet power. Eridan's eyes slowly opened as he heard the sound of coursing electricity. On the wall, he saw the shine of red and blue lights flickering. He finally registered what was happening, and gasped as he turned towards Sollux.
"Sol, wwhat are you doing?!" Eridan's eyes filled with tears as he looked at the troll he once loved, who had learned to hate Eridan so much.

"2omethiing Ii 2hould have done long ago."

Sollux quickly reached towards the highblood, grabbing his horns roughly. Eridan howled in pain as he could feel the tension. Sollux bent back towards his body, and the sound of cracking horns filled the room, along with the poor victim's screams. Finally, as suddenly as it had started, it ended. The horns snapped off of Eridan's head, almost sending Sollux flying back. Eridan struggled to get out of his bed, and run away. He could feel his violet blood bubbling out of the stubs of what were once his horns, he felt it seep into his scalp. He had to escape. He was nearly to the door, when the familiar sound of electricity, accompanied by the flashing lights, quickly returned, nearly blinding him.

"ED, you're not goiing anywhere."

Eridan was sobbing at this point, so scared of the man he once loved more than anything. The one he was willing to die for. He almost chuckled to himself, whether it be from blood loss or irony, he didn't know.

"I wwill die for you."
