My heart rammed inside my ribcage err- I mean chest. this isn't the time to be anatomically conscious Mira. I reminded myself.

"Oh anong 'now you won't be able to run drama' to?" I asked when we I finally regained my composure and arched a brow at him.

"You ran away earlier at the restaurant, I just wanna be friends with you Serene." He replied. Serene? My name is Mira well Serene is my name too but oh well never mind.

"Ah you see, I have no time to fool around and collect 'friends' as I'm busy so sorry." friends daw wushu gasgas na yang mga linyang yan breezy moves itong si koya.

I scanned through the place, the whole unit has an interior shade of powder blue matching the ceilings tiffany blue intricate designs, both are my favourite color so the place itself gives some kind of homey vibe, ganoon din kasi ang interior ng kwarto ko sa bahay naming sa alabang. Maybe we have the same interior designer? Whoever the owner of this unit is, one thing's for sure: she has some great taste! She dahil very feminine ang mga furnitures

May double sized bed sa gitna sa tabi naman ay may bedside table with lampshade with built in cabinet rin. Iyong bathroom ay may hot and cold shower and toilet bowl with bidet. Overall masasabi kong nice catch na ito walang maipipintas dahil nandito na lahat tanging mga personal na gamit nalang ang dadalhin ko kapag lumipat ako.

Furnished o hindi ay ayos lang sakin dahil ang habol ko lang ay ang mapalapit sa school ko. Imagine yung itutulog ko nalang ay ibibyahe ko pa. Pero dahil furnished itong nakita ni ate ay grab na sunggab na this.

"Two months advanced then two months deposit then 11 post dated checks?" tanong ko sakanya tungkol sa payment terms bago ako lumipat.

"No special treatment kung ano ang kailangan yun nalang."

"So okay ka naman sa lugar? Next naman ang amenities itotour kita."

"Thanks Chaos but its getting late. Dito naman ako titira so kapag nakatira nalang siguro ako ay dun ko na ichecheck iyong mga yon. Salamat sa time itetext ulit kita regarding sa contract signing." Totoo naman na mag gagabi na hindi ko namalayan ang oras.

Ignore him Mira you've met a lot of annoying guys like him and even worse but got over them he's the same. Guys are a nuisance.

"Okay bye." I headed towards the door without turning back and I can't wait to ride the elevator away from this man.

Nang bigla niya kong hawakan sa kamay. Bat ang hilig manghiklat ng taong to? "Hey wait I'll give you a ride back since I don't think its safe for you to ride a cab at this hour."

I glanced at my wristwatch and its only 7:36pm.

"It's not even 8pm so there's still time if it's the curfew you're worried about."

"No honey curfew time or not its still evening and I'll be dead meat if something bad happens to you binilin ka sakin ni Ate Chelsea."

"Magpapasundo na lang ako kay Ate ng matahimik ang mundo mo." I rolled my eyes.

"Mapapagod pa ang ate mo kung mula Alabang ay papupuntahin mo siya sa QC."

Wala nakong masabi pa. Ano pa nga ba eh sinabi niya na ang lahat ng pwede ko pang idahilan at sinagot narin niya. Hindi pa naman ako sanay na natatalo ng lalaki sa mga argumento but I'll let this one pass.

We rode the elevator and the silence was deafening dahil wala ni isa samin ang nagsalita pa hanggang marating ang parking, napagod ata siya sa dami ng sinabi kanina.

Pagdating sa parking lot iginiya niya ko patungo sa isang red Mazda 3 na sasakyan. Ipinagbukas pako ng mokong ng pinto ng akmang hahawakan ko na.

He adjusted the seatbelt, my seatbelt. "Safety First." Then he smiled and adjusted his own seatbelt before starting the engine.

What he said next instantly send chills to my spine.

"Serene there's somewhere I want to go first before taking you home."
