"Don't worry you look amazing." Rumejsa said with a reassuring smile that didn't really seem assuring.

"Don't lie" I raised an eyebrow.

"Shut up."

"No."

"You look fine!"

"Really?"

"Anaya I will slap you so hard if you look at that mirror again."

I sighed. "Alright alright! Are you sure though?"

"ANAYA!" Rumejsa yelled which made me laugh. She walked towards me and started fixing my hijab. Didn't she say I looked fine? Confusing.

"Where did you say you were meeting him?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know. I forgot. He said he'll order an uber for me or something." I smiled trying my hardest to not blush.

"Right.. Are you sure you don't want your breakfast? I can hear your stomach crying." She looked at my stomach then back at me.

"It just makes noises, even when I'm not hungry okay. And yes I'm sure. He said we'll get some brunch. I mean that is why we're meeting at.." I looked down at my cheap but expensive looking watch, ".. 10'o clock."

"Cute. So why exactly are you two spending the whole day together?"

"So why exactly are you asking so many questions?"

"Sorry."

I sat down on the bottom stair and waited for the uber that Harris had ordered. I told him he didn't have to do that but he 'insisted'. The offer was there, so the obvious thing to do was to take it. Right?

Anyway, I tried to dress casual. Don't want to make a big deal out of it, even though it low-key was. I wore a white t-shirt which had 'tea shirt' written on it (Classic, I know) with blue ripped jeans and an old pair of black and white converses. Rumejsa kindly lent me her bag since I couldn't find any to match my outfit. Of course I wore a silky black hijab with silver sunglasses, the lenses were black.

Harris texted me to say that the uber was just parking up nearby. And before you ask, yes. We have been texting nonstop since yesterday. He's actually way funnier than I thought. I just hoped it wouldn't be awkward today.

"So do you know where you're going?" He asked, looking at me through the front mirror. I was surprised that he knew English as most uber drivers here don't. His English was pretty good, if I must say.

"Erm, no. Didn't.."

"Harris tell me?" He finished and then let out a little laugh. "He told me on the phone to not tell you. You're going to be surprised."
