Night time

Annabeth pov.

After the prize distribution I and Percy took a short walk around the lake..... hand in hand. I could barely contain my excitement. We were going to Goode... Together!!! for 5 months. This was going to be soo awesome!!!

I let a spring creep into my step... and Percy noticed it.

"Annabeth.... whats with you..."

"I am soo excited Percy!!! I can't wait to go to school.... togather."

Percy laughed. "I am excited too wise girl..... but please calm down. we are trying to have a peaceful walk..... remember?"

I smiled sheepishly. " Yeah.... sorry."

" Its nothing to be sorry about." He leaned down and kissed my cheek.

I looked up at the night sky. "It's such a lovely night... I don't want to go inside."

Percy nodded. " Yeah.... how about we sleep at the beach?"

" Good Idea."

"Well.... let me just get some blankets... It might get cold out here later." He said as he steered me towards the cabins

I smiled up at him. "Wow Percy.... looks like you do use your brain sometimes."

He laughed. " One of the advantages of dating the smartest girl at the camp.... you begin to learn stuff." He said matter - of - factly.

"Yeah.... because her intelligence starts rubbing off on you." I laughed.

" Oh come on wise girl..... you make it look like I dont have a brain at all."

" Well... you aren't 'seaweed brain' for nothing."

"But I have a brain of my own.... sometimes..... I.... think up good stuff too."

I smiled as we reached the poseidon cabin. "well.... see you at the lake in 10 minutes."

Percy put his arms around me and kissed me. however I pulled back quickly."

"What???" Percy pouted.

"Percy!!!" I hissed. "  not here.... someone might see us... and I have no plans to be thrown in the lake right now."

" but... but I want to....."

" You can have the whole night.... well....maybe not....."

"OKAY..... I will hold you to it !!!"

"What?"

"be right back" He smiled at me and went into his cabin..... quickly closing the door.

I sighed and walked to my cabin.....

10 minutes later.......

I reached the place Percy was supposed to meet me. I hadn't changed my cloths (didn't want to be caught sleeping on the beach in pyjamas)

Anyways I was standing quitely in the slight breeze when I felt Percy's warm and comforting hands wrap around me.

"Were you waiting for a long time wise girl ?" He whispered in my ear.

"No.... I just came here about 2 minutes ago."

He nodded. " Okay then... lets go."

We interwined fingers and set off to the beach. When we reached there Percy spread his blanket on the ground and we both flopped down. Percy pulled my blanket over the both of us and I snuggled next to him.

And what did he do ?

He started tickling me.

Note : Percy had discovered my weak spot last week..... and since then he tickled me every chance he got. Usually I managed to keep up my gaurd.... but right now he had suprised me....
